  1. Siphoning is happening. Open the fuel cap and apply a small amount of compressed air on the fuel line going back to the tank with a air gun with a rubber end. That’ll push the fuel back and than your siphoning issue is gone.

  3. Ive seen the same thing before. Last time I saw it, it was due to a chewed up wire in the engine harness under the intake. Rodents love to hang out up in that area. Nice warn spot for the night with lots of wires they can chew on. This fault is usually due to an open circuit on the level sender (wiring, sensor, faulty cluster). The sensor has two circuits in it. One is a temp sensor that is wired to the DME the other it the level sensor and goes to the Instrument Cluster. The circuit to the cluster is pins 2 and 4 on the connector of the level sender. Pin 2 wire color Green and Blue and Pin 4 is Brown and orange. look at the harness closely and see if you can find any evidence of rodent damage on the wires. If it looks okay, I would next take the cluster out and check continuity of the circuit for the level sender. Gonna be pins 19 and 24 also wire color of 19 green / blue and 24 of brown / orange of connector C1. Check for Ohm reading on this circuit. I do not have a "spec" of what it should be. However if its an open circuit with no OHMS of resistance than you have a broken wire somewhere. Anyways hope this helps. Good luck
  4. I would be worried about reactions too. Sand blast the entire bolt. Tape off everything except the bolt head and either paint or powder coat. I’ve done plenty of sets like this. Rattle can doesn’t hold up well. You can also just buy a new set. Febi makes the bolts, they come in silver or black. Run about 5 - 10 bucks a bolt.
  5. Ran into a similar issue once on a cayenne. It was contributed to one of the cam position sensors being unplugged, no throttle performance and intake backfiring. Double check any connector you may have touched or accidentally hit. Good luck!
  6. Your usually gone loose window normalization after battery swap. I’ve seen it several times that techs cannot get the window to renormalize, it’s usually due to them not having the door completely closed. Close the drivers door all the way ignition on and than try it. Good luck!
  7. Permanent fault codes cannot be cleared by any scan tool. They are faults that need drive cycles to clear. If the problem is fixed they will go away on their own after a few drive cycles.
