  1. Hi I'm agree with " rushrevisited " go to an O.P.C. for a second opinion. Success
  2. Remove the wheel liner and push the headlight out.
  3. Hi rockymount The canister fixation contains: 1x nut and 2x rubber bush on the opposite side, you have to pull the canister to the front of the car. The tension on the rubbers is high.
  4. Hi European canisters are bolt on and are equipped with a bracket and rubber bushes you have to push in ( it is difficult for my to explain in English ) I hope it's helps.
  5. Hi Dismount: rear wheels rear bumper shell rear bumper ( alum. ) inter coolers + tubing heat shields exhaust Than you god the turbo's right before you Dismount the turbo's Success
  6. The drive in a 997 is indeed a DVD for the navigation, mounted in the trunk. I have no idea if that works without a modification.
  7. I never heard this on European types, there is a lock up valve between the filler neck and the canister, but during the years the canister can be saturated by the vapors. I now that the US types are different at this point. To remove the canister, build out the right front wheel well, and you have the canister right under the filler neck with a lot of connectors and tubes. succes
  8. Hi The hardness of the clutch pedal on Carrera and Boxster means a worn clutch, replace the complete clutch disc - pressure plate and bearing for a smooth working system. This have nothing to do with a earlier or a newer Boxster, it is simply a worn out clutch. A good advice is to do A.S.A.P. the replacement before ruins the flywheel.
  9. There are 2 horns, 1 hi and 1 low. Are you sure if they worked both, or only one? In this case it's possible that both horns are faulty. Look at the connectors for 12 V supply, if yes replace both horns ( they are located behind the bumper shell on the R.H. - dismount the shell to replace. ) Succes
  10. You have to build out the canister on ROW types, I'm not sure for US types. ( Clickman and Chuck )
  11. The remote stops working after approx. 5 days of inactivity, trey this: open the door with the key-push the key in the ignition switch-turn contact on, at the same time push on the button of the remote to recognise the system ( announcement )-pull the key out and trey to lock the door by the remote. If it doesnt work, there is a good change that the remote is faulty and most by replaced in a O.P.C. to programmed.
  12. Sorry, i make a mistake with the MY.
  13. Notice that a ROW type, before starting a alignment, the fuel tank most by top pet up to FULL. This is for 90% a forgotten item.
  14. In my opinion, the factory manual cant show a non existent item.
  15. All you have to do is buy a new button, the old one is probably used on the notch. It is a frequent occurrence.
  16. All 997 and 987 have the emergency release ( front and rear ) on the opposite side - 996 and 986, to keep it simple!
  17. Hi The GPS antenna is located above the cabin air filter, on a metal plate. You have to dismount the wiper arms and the black plastic finish plate, the metal plate with the antennas ( two antennas if a telephone is installed ) is bold on the plastic plate. I don't no if the OEM antenna is compatible with Pioneer. I hope this can help. Regards.
  18. 50% water 50% ORIGINAL coolant
  19. It is unnecessary to change the coolant, all you have to do is top up the expan.tank with a mix from water and the original coolant. The coolant changed from green to red approx. one year.
  20. Hi The low beam and high beam are not adjustable separately, there most by a problem inside the unit.
  21. Hi I' m not sure, but i don't think so. You need a new wiring, control unit, sensors, antennas and a lot of labour.
  22. Wiper blade spoiler always down.
  23. It is not so simple as that, the D.M.E. programmation depend on the numbers upon the cats.
  24. Porsche use " SuperSyn " 0W-40 in Europe, i never seen European Car Formula. A marketing item for the U.S.A. ???
  25. The switch on the brake pedal is also a possibility, he have a double function - activate the brake lights and start interruption.
