  1. I am assuming the condensation is on the outside of the window, not the inside (if it is the inside then please let us know). Try making sure the vent is not aiming directly at the window because what will happen is the vent will make the window so cold that outside humidity will attach/condense outside of the window. Same principle as a cold coke can on a hot humid day outside - it will start to get condensation on the outside.
  2. Sounds like your dealer is just throwing up their arms and giving up - for them to save that is "normal" is not true...
  3. Don't worry about your trip to Italy - you'll be fine. This problem is a very common one, and it doesn't sound like any damage would have been done to your engine. Have fun and enjoy your Boxtser! B)
  4. I just had the same problem. When I had the new resevoir put in, they also replaced the cap with the new one. It sounds like you have the cracked coolant tank to me - seems pretty typical after 5-10 years. As for you worrying about the oil level dropping one bar, I wouldn't worry about that either. One bar to me means nothing. Now, if you were having to top off the oil (3 or 4 bars down) every couple days or weeks, I'd be worried - but doesn't sound like that in this case. Have them pull the plastic resevoir out and I bet there is a crack in it... Edit to add: Also, your temperature looks perfect to me.
  5. Mine is also exactly 5 mph off (speedometer shows I am going 5 faster than I really am). Analog and Digital are both in synch, tires are correct. This seems to be a very common issue.
  6. Ah, just saw you are from Denmark, Classic is probably not there, but surely similar shops.
  7. Morten, I just had mine redone by Classic Soft Trim (check your area, they are all over the U.S.) - they did it, labor and all, for $690. And it looks BETTER than it did originally in my opinion.
  8. Amazingly unprofessional. I don't care if there was a legitimate misnderstanding or screwup - those emails he sent you are about as unprofessional and childish as it gets. I will remember never to use that place...
  9. Hey William, welcome to the board. One point I wanted to make - when you read the problems on this board you have to understand that people out there not having problems or questions, the average person, does not seek out message boards to get others advice and vent about problems they are having. I guess simply put, you will never see the people without engine failures coming to a place like this to say that they are not having engine failures...
  10. So are you saying the additional muffler support is what the final problem ended up being with the vibration?

  12. Had to pull the receipt after seeing your reply - was $709, but that was with a "20% discount"... Please review and tell me if I got royally screwed:
  13. I agree - probably coolant tank. I just had to have mine replaced due to crack (in an '01). The labor on it killed me. Total bill was around $800+.
