  1. Check the bellows on the AOS just inside the right (passenger) rear tire.
  2. The tube is attached by a spring clamp. I had my transmission out when I replaced mine. I also removed the air tube from the intake box (where filter is) to the throttle body and the resonator too. This created room to get to the clamp from above.
  3. Ended up taking it to a dealer and the number was 1082. I wasn't sure if you were tracking this sort of thing. Try 0082 or 0080
  4. Check Rahlstrom DIY post below. He upgraded a double din aftermarket unit to his MOST system. Post Click Here
  5. If oil is leaking in the the center of the car where the transmission bell housing connects to engine then you most likely have a RMS or an IMS issue. RMS usually leaks the drops the size of a quarter or so while an IMS can be quite heavy. You really can't know until you drop the tranny and remove flywheel.
  6. If the CEL isn't flashing you are alright. Take it for a drive to reset the DME. Check the CEL code and post, then reset and see if it comes back. You can check the CEL with a loaner scan tool from Autozone but to reset you will need a Durametric tool or PIWIS Tester or dealer PST2 scan.
  7. White smoke and oil under passenger side near tire sounds like an AOS or bad bellows on AOS. Check your J tube for oil into the throttle body. Should be very easy to determine if AOS or RMS/IMS.
  8. Check and see if the oil is coming from where the tranny bell housing meets the engine. Did you bottom out and damage the lower oil pan cover? One could only hope?
  9. I have an opportunity to purchase some clear headlights. What would a decent set of clear headlights be worth? They are clear halogens with no amber lenses. I thought I would upgrade the set with a CQLight HID H7 Conversion Kit. Has anybody else done this?
  10. I have another one that I picked up from a salvaged boxster in a wrecking yard. Becker CDR 210 MN BE 2282 SN T5001034
  11. CDR 220 Model # BE 4462 SN Y5051714 Thanks in advance!
  12. I added the Pioneer AVIC D-3 Double Din unit and kept the 4x40 AMP. I would check back with Crutchfields and recheck wiring schematic. Have you had any issues with your ignition switch prior to your HU upgrade?
  13. I currently have 17" stock factory rims on my 98 Boxster. The rims have mounted: fronts - 205/50 - 17 rears - 255/40 - 17 I want to purchase some additional rims with winter tires. Will 17" rims (imported from Italy) from a 2005 Boxster 987-1 fit? The rims have mounted: fronts - 205/55R - 17 tires rears - 235/50R - 17 tires Thanks in advance?
  14. Hi Loren, I need a code for a CDR 210 SN W5019438 Thanks in advance!
  15. When you move your AC. Sunset has the trim piece: The part number for the trim piece for the lowest DIN is: 996-552-339-00-01C Item: A\C Panel Price was $5.23 to Washington State plus shipping. Outside Oregon and Washington there is a %15 mark up from Sunset Porsche in Oregon.
