  1. I'm not sure if its just me or my brake pedals felt like super firm. Like I have manual brakes. When the pads are cold in the morning feel like I can't brake the car. Even after 30 min drive and trying to warm the pads up. Still don't feel like I have brake booster assist. Can my brake booster be going? My brakes spec: EBC reds with EBC USR rotors.
  2. Turbo S. My friend have 2nd hand turbo S on his. Exact identical. Will wait for someone with actual experience to confirm. Even though im quite certain.
  3. Had the same problems. Been driving me crazy for few days now. Thank you you guys for an awesome pointers. Would get working on the situation tomorrow.
  4. I just replaced all 4 to brand new spec. Will look up the parts numbers for you tomorrow. My driver door won't shut and passenger door won't open sometimes. plus the rear acting up.
  5. I'm having the same problem. How did you update DME and coded TCM to match? I'm in Thailand. Only porsche dealership is Porsche Thailand. Since my car was purchase via grey market dealer. They would not service my Cayenne Turbo 04. If gbratk could help me out would be awesome. I already have durametric and the cable. Your help would be greatly appreciated gbratk.
  6. Few weird things happen lately. This after I changed to cold air intake. The engine will shut off every time i selected to lower the car does not matter at what level. This didn't happen before. Also twice this pass week. As I came home got out to get some stuff out the back of the car with the engine still running to cool down at this point. After about 30min of moderate drive. I hear like the air compressor venting into the intake and then all the sudden my engine turn off it self. I don't have CEL lights. I could not confirm if they're any code in the system because I don't have a durametric yet. So I wonder if anyone have encounter a similar problem after going over to cold air intake or could this be the air suspension system failing?
  7. I changed the two transformers the display worked for about 2 weeks and it's acting up again. It go on and off every time I hit the bumps on the road. First it was the analog that go bright or dim on its own. Now its the the display. The analog didn't do this before but the display was dark then it came back when it want to then it black again.
  8. Like the title say. Does the 955 957 pretty much the cayennes' line up support E85? I saw some tuner support E85 and with a lot of the station popping up around the city. I'm wondering if we could just fill up our cayenne with E85 and it would be ok to run with it or do we have to do modifications to fully support it. From my search on the injectors it seem they support E85 but not sure about all the other fuelling system.
  9. I did the soldering myself got the Multi color display back working nicely but the analog went dark on me. Will have to re turn somenofnthe dials. Got my fuel on empty most of the time when im 1/4 of a tank. So it would have to come back out again. I think eventually these display screen will go bad my screen is about 85 percent condition. Anyone have an idea where to sort replacement?
  10. I wasn't sure which one of the transformers to replace so I replaced them both. Will have to go over the details again tomorrow. Could be my crappy soldering skill.
  11. Ok this might be helpful I back tracked myself. I took the liberty to replace the two orange transformers at one go that maybe the one in charge of lighting up the analog display might not be sitting properly. So I will have to remove the cluster again and get things fix again.
  12. I bought my cayenne then the multi colors display went bad. Had a day off today so I took it apart to solder and fix to get the display back functioning again but I have another problem arises from this fix was now all the cluster won't light up. Only the dials light up but not the cluster behind. Any one know a fix to this? Picture say it all
  13. I will say drill tap the ipd plenum if you want accurate measurements. I'm looking to do a custom plenum here and have piping done for external boost gauge. You tried on stock plenum and use some sort of sealant or epoxy to seal around the installed tubing for the boost measurement.
  14. I will say maybe tap in by the plenum that will give accurate reading to both side of boost coming together and after the intercooler too. You'll know how much boost are really going into your system.
  15. Awesome thanks. Will try this out. Founded a local who modded creative lab sound card. I guess if he have the doctor hands to solders the sound card he could do the transformer for me no problem.
  16. Any special tools require to remove the gauge cluster out from the car. I remember saw a write up about the cluster process but still a bit lost? Any guide or pointer? I don't want to break anything. My turbo muti color display been dark for almost 2 months now.
  17. I have the similar problem. Except my is getting worst. The passenger would require a little push to be able to get open from the outside. The driver side door won't fully close from time to time. The alarm is not sounding as well. Glad to stumble upon this thread. So might have to remove the door panel to have a look at the mechanism. Got any idea of what part that causing this problem? Replacement parts number?
  18. So that was it does. As I was getting use to new full exhaust and driving around with psm off. The fun driving factor greatly increased and the petrol gauge quickly goes down rather quickly. I'm sure with sprint booster it would be fun to have then.
