It looks like the factory stock cup holders.... Do the stock center console cup holder raise up just like the one in the link posted above or are the ones on the link newly designed?

If they're newly designed it's not the center section raising...mine do that from the factory. Look stock to me.

The question is, where do we hook up the mini-microwave to heat up the pastry as we sip coffee and dial the cell phone to get our messages in the morning? All while rowing the six speed and folding the newspaper on our lap while turning.....

And why doesn't Porsche design rear seat cupholders square-shaped like juice boxes?

Oh, man, you got me laughing right off the chair. That is too much, french fry holder... Precious for us overfed Americans, but can keep the peace in the back of the van. I could use them on the minivan too.

They look like those semi-plastic injection molded fries they sell at McDonalds too. Do the test, buy a small pack or them, and put them on a closed glass jar. They last for months without decay.....

Funny guys!

Good unit, no stock holder in original car, never did get to use it as sold C2 and bought Z06 corvette, 425 horses and handles as good or better than the carrera, no comparison and I can get it serviced without driving 200 miles and the main seal in the 350 CI motor is cast iron!

Loved my 4 Porsches, dollar for dolar no comparison to the vette! It would eat them all in any event, strip, autocross, road race -- even has a cup holder !

Congrats on your purchase...the main seal is cast iron...doesn't sound like a good seal material. I am not impressed with the interior, but glad you like your cup holders...as far as eating your 4 Porsches...you just never had the Turbo

I will admit, I do admire the Z06's. Dollar wise is a hell of a drive. And as I was topping 141 mph at VIR last weekend, them suckers were passing me at 150 (I had to ask them after the event what was their speed). Not a bad sports car at all.

A black Z06 passed me TWICE during a 30 min time. I was depressed so had to find out who it was, went to the where the Vete's where pitting and asked them who was driving the black Z06 in my group. They asked "which one? we have 3 Z06's in that group, all same year". Needless to say, I felt a LOT better.

Still, you have to admire the engineering they pulled at the price point they pulled it at Chevy. If you love sportscars........
