How to remove surface rust from SS exhaust

I took my Fabspeed stainless steel mufflers off my car this weekend. They are covered with surface rust.

I wonder what products and how to get rid of the surface rust and bring them back to shine.

I would use Slipol or another metal polish cream.

I use very fine steel wool (000 followed by 0000) and metal polish. Makes them look like new

Try evapo rust. You need to use enough to submerge the whole piece in it though. Super effective for removing rust.

[Edit] Oh never mind. For some reason i thought you were talking about exhaust tips. The whole muffler will require too much evap rust to be cost effective.
