thanks exactly where you said, basically the thin yellow is the wire from the gear selector lever purfect, for remote deactivation

Do you know the colour and position of the lock/unlock wire for central locking

I know this relay group is under the carpet and behind the rear seats on the 996 2003).  However, is the group underneath the horizontal plate supporting the rear shelf, or is it behind the vertical section right at the back.

 

The reason I ask is that I have heard quite a lot about cars just stopping because of failure of the DME relay.   I thought I would get a spare and know how to get to it, should it fail.

Hi,

 

I have a 996 MY2001 C4 Cab.  Do you know were the relay panel is? Behind my seats is the convertible top.  Any help would be great.  Thanks.
