Brake fluid & PSM 'off' light

Hi,

I have a 2004 2.7 986. Only had it a few months. Problem is with a couple of warning lights.

I washed it 4 days ago and it has sat in the garage since then. Drive it this morning and the brake fluid warning light comes on then the PSM off warning light comes on.

If I top up the fluid will this put out the PSM light?

Any help would be much appreciated. I have done a few serches but can't seem to find the answer.

The issues may be related, start by looking at the brake fluid and see if it is low; if it is, fill to the correct level. If the fluid is not low, you may have a problem related to getting wet when you washed it, such as a loose or cracked harness connector. Another option would be to scan the car with either a PIWIS unit or the Durametric software to see what codes are involved.

I've noticed that when the brakes are worn, as mine were recently, the brake fluid level was near the low limit.

Thanks for the help. I have topped up the fluid and all is well !I am not sure where the level was previously but will now monitor. Hoping it was just due to being on bottom marker. Cheers.
