  1. Have a look at the thread here
  2. Berny, I sent you some info via email...
  3. Gert has the number for the Tip shift knob above.
  4. I would say 5 to 7 hours labor at $100 to $120 per hour (for a good shop). Use the RoW Sport alignment specs here.
  5. I think so too. What type of seat? standard, comfort, sports or GT3? ;) Post a pic and I'll get you the instructions.
  6. 996 521 781 00 emblem (2 needed) 999 919 983 09 screw 3.5 x 25 (2 needed) This is not the same as the coat hook screw it is shorter (coat hook screw is 5.0 x 25).
  7. The mufflers are not the problem with changing the plugs -- the problem is the headers. Only two plugs are difficult to get to. Just plain a PITA. Older cars only need plugs every 30,000 and the newer cars (MY02 on) only get plugs every 60,000. I would not recommend taking the headers off to change the plugs -- that would take longer. Just make sure you have the right tools is the best advice I can give.
  8. "Support for Mobile Phone" (option I9ZF/I9ZT)
  9. MY99 to MY 01 use the same gear boxes. Only C2 vs. C4 are different.
  10. 235 will fit under all conditions that I have seen. Some 245s may rub a little at full lock but will likely be okay too. I assume you are talking stock wheel offsets.
  11. The blue and black cables have nothing to do with the shifters "tightness". They adjust the cable throw on the transmission. If you are having trouble getting into a gear move the black cable one notch at at time and then test. As msindni said the Blue cable is for reverse.
  12. Jimmy, I think you have Suncoast Porsche in Florida confused with Sunset Imports in Oregon. Sunset Imports in Oregon sells Porsche factory parts at cost plus a small handling charge. You can find them here
  13. It is part of the engine cooling circulation system. So, if it is leaking expect that your overflow tank will be a little low.
  14. Porsche does not take wheels in for trade. Some venders like Wheel Enhancement do. Their trade-in value will be based on the wheels condition (and whether they can repair it it and sell it as used). Your Turbo Look rear wheel is part number 993 362 140 04. The retail price is $679.80.
  15. Nothing is wrong. On US and Canadian cars there is only one rear fog light (so that people are not confused with the brake lights). This is true for Porsche, Mercedes and BMW also.
  16. Sorry... those things do happen. If the damage is not too bad then have a look at NASA racer Pete's DIY here. Or folks can recommend a wheel repair house in your area. Finally, if you need the part number and price then give us the wheel width, and MY of your car.
  17. No. Also, body type (coupe or cab), 2WD or 4WD, and transmission type (6 speed or Tip) make a difference. All of these combinations make up for different vehicle weights/weight distribution.
  18. I sent you the two Boxster TSBs for wheels and tires (to your Hotmail address).
  19. K 996 347 804 90 Red K 996 347 804 91 Blue I believe the "K" designates special order only
  20. Have a look at the Maintenance Checklists. Boxsters are pretty much the same.
  21. Have a look at this thread
  22. Have a look here in the DIY section. It is covered in the 3rd Radiator Install.
