  1. Are your sure that all the connectors are properly fit on the coils ?
  2. The black cap is not a Porsche cap, there is a possibility that the opening pressure of this cap a different value has than the original Porsche cap ( lower )

Hi The 996 clutch is not the same as a 987 997 clutch, the main difference is situated in the pressure plate, the 987 997 plate is equipped with a automatic adjustable mechanism witch eliminate the pedal lift when the clutch is coming to his end. The intention is to have the same feeling in pedal play with a new clutch as with a used clutch as well. The dual mass flywheel needs a replacement if the contact area is worn out or the displacement is out of specifications, witch is not so easy to diagnose and the flywheels that are replaced unneccecary are countless. Don't forget that the details makes the difference and sometimes you need a professional skill to prevent you to do more bad than good and waste time and money. Success

  7. Hi The tiptronic gearboxes are from Mercedes Benz on 996 and 997 since MY 2002 or 2003. ZF tips are only for 986 987 and 987-C. Look out for this!

  13. If i was in your situation, i took an appointment on a O.P.C. for a complete check-up in dialogue with the battery installer. It is too tricky for a D.I.Y. Success.
  14. Hi The electric part of the ignition switch is faulty, you have too replace this part first. After replacement lock - unlock the car by using the key ( manually ) try the remote, red led flashing=inside batt. is O.K. If there is no response while using the remote, there is a problem with, try remote 2 using the same procedure.
  15. If you drill holes in the upper part of the air box, unfiltered air got free access to the MAF and the engine. In the bottom part is the sound effect practical nil. The best you can do is purchase a sport air box.
  16. Hi The replacement part numbers for the PCM 1 buttons are: up to 2001 996 642 953 00 left 996 642 954 00 right only 2002 996 642 955 00 left 996 642 956 00 right Price: approx. Euro 7.56 If the buttons are not available in Spain, take your holidays in Belgium.

  18. The V8 S is a good compromise, the V6 is still underpowered on a 08, a test drive is a recommendation. The new electronic stabil. system is pure fun on small roads with a lot of curves in combination with xenon head lamps and tiptronic. The option list is individual and long. Success.
  19. Retract the steering column too the max. Turn the steering wheel 90° too the left Insert a flat screwdriver in too the hole on the back of the steering wheel till he hooked after a steel spring Push the screwdriver in the direction of the steering column, while pulling on the airbag module Turn the steering wheel 180° to the right and do the same handling in the other hole Remove the airbag module and the connectors Remove the center bolt in the steering wheel Remove the steering wheel I hope it's helps
  20. There are probably some problems with vers.18, also in the 955 and 997 programs.
  21. The air diverters are symmetrical, there is only a difference in Left and Right side.
  22. Hi You have to remove the bolt in the center.
  23. The mounts are hydraulic, you have to replace them. The engine is not a jacking point for a M 96.
  24. That's bad luck, trey to find a 2nd hand door. It looks that the rear wing is damaged as well, is your car hit by a lorry?I can imagine how you felt.
  25. Hi It is possible to change the solenoids with the engine in the car.
