  1. There is a TSB on the 9PA1 TSB list giving all the instructions you need (well mostly)
  2. It is pre wired, its also quite an undertaking. I took mine out and I am guessing you may have to do the same to put it in properly. I have the instructions for removal of the body panels if you need them. Not for the faint of heart. Ever thought of just using an iPod
  3. They come in packs of 12, I got mine from Sunset, they found them without the part number
  4. What you describe is a car that was never returned for just about every beta fault you can name. The previous owner should be shot IMHO. Now its to expensive to fix out of warranty, = ditch it and buy another now you know what to look for
  5. Your is 2.1. I installed one in my 08TT a short while ago, was easy
  6. if yours is a TT there are 2 parts, the coolant pipes and the T pipe at the back, warranty people only do the minimum even if it means double the work eventually
  7. This type of intermitant fault is common place in 955 Cayenne. Most of the time its ok and sometimes the car needs to reboot, (turn it off and leave it off for 5 minutes then try again) No reliable fix
  8. The one that controls the floor is a bad on to replace or at least thats what my dealer told me when the changed mine. A lot of stuff to remove to get to it and the end result is not much of an improvement. Have you manually set it to go down there to test ?
  9. What part number are the coils that you have in now, the last 3 digits will be 003, 005, 007 or something like that
  10. OK well the next thing to look at is antenna affects, where did you run the ipod cable ? ,maybe its running around a power cable somewhere
  11. The unit should be silent. I just installed another on my 08 and its perfect. I would stick with tracking down the power feed. If you use the same feed as the PCM it should be silent. See the youtube videos.
  12. Hey Darrin OK this may help. There is a ring magnet in the mouth of the end you screw in under the seat, this activates a reed switch to turn the compressor on. it drops off. The solution for me was to replace the inflator pipe. Shame you are where you I have a spare one here since I traded the car just after I got the new pipe, the new ride came with one. The part number you need is 955-358-0710-02 Mike http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170738913361&ssPageName=ADME:L:EOISSU:US:1120
  13. The amp,cdc and phone error indicates (to me anyway) that the Most bus is not up up to the head unit, I would remove and see if you can see red light in the cable ends
  14. unfortunately there are no repair parts for the MF Wheel. you will need to replace it. To remove the "horn" remember its actually the airbag = explosives. Your best bet is to try to get one from a breakers or try ebay.
  15. Transmission control units were very suspect on 04 S models, I had 3 during the time I had the car
