  1. I once helped black99986 on this. detailed info here,,, http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/33367-seat-wiring-question/
  2. Yup, most likely it is the AOS,,,they usually go out around 60K miles. oil cap vacuum stuck, idle fluctuation, spool of oil in j tube.
  3. Glad to see U found the answer. It would be interesting to hook up the rest of the 997 connectors,,,
  4. 17" after market wheels are really hard to come by. Autoart VYC is about the only 17"s, I know of,,,high quality expensive wheels.
  5. best VALUE tires would be a set of Nexen N3000,,, will last U close to 30,000 miles.
  6. make sure they are weatherproof, mine burned out already,,,
  7. wouldn't hurt to check the alternator output.
  8. Yes, it will. I'm hoping, it isn't fried cuz they can be $$$$. Try to dry it more also check the fuse,,,good luck
  9. Here is a Trieullionaire's old thread,,,,, http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/24798-aero-gtr-front-bumper-gt3-rs-rockers/page__p__130130__hl__fiberwerks__fromsearch__1#entry130130
  10. See if it is difficult to remove the cap while running. put your hand over, feel for any vacumm suction,,,
  11. I had both p1128,1130 about a few weeks ago. It was the AOS in my case. I would check the oil cap, while she is running,,,
  12. My baby is smoking, cel came on,,,Yup U already know P1128, 1130. Call the dealer, they can order it for $3.75. Is this blue plastic clamp easier to use than a regular hose plier? never used one before,,,
  13. That is what I have on my 01 986S,,,10(almost 11)J x 18 ET 58 on the rear. 7mm H&R spacers all the way around & she is lookin good. As jmatta suggested above, 11mm would be perfect. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/16783-set-of-wheels-just-came-in/page__p__84104__hl__eurotech__fromsearch__1#entry84104
  14. I'm guessing that U probably have a passive cross-over ,,, seperate set would only need a pair of wire for each side.
  15. Yup, most likely its the cylinder plastic part,,, remove the door panel+handle to verify. could be broken or just out of it,,, http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/22690-locking-doors-with-key/page__p__118421__hl__%2Bdoor+%2Block+%2Bjuniinc__fromsearch__1#entry118421
  16. check for any dampness under the driver seat. sounds like your alarm module is acting up,,,
  17. made it myself,,, http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?/topic/17505-new-sound-system-upgrade/page__p__88367__hl__stereo__fromsearch__1#entry88367
  18. with a pair of spacers on the front, they should fit.
  19. It is very simple,,,switch cover will unclip very easily. just be careful not to scratch em up.
  20. +1 exactly Nobody seems to be able to tell me how much Ohm the resister must be, i tried a standard turnsignal (6ohm) one but it was not enough to make it work...if anyone knows..... When I asked two Porsche mechanics about it they both told me the circuit has to be read with OEM then read with after market using an OHM meter. The difference in resistance between the two circuits is the correct amount of resistor you will need.
