  1. NP Maurice. yes, I believe your rear is gonna fill out nicely,,, on the front 7mm is gonnna bring it out even so perhaps going with 13~14mm should be a better match. juniinc: Thanks. So, if I install the rears without spacers, the wheel wells will fill out nicely? If so, what size spacers to have the "filling out" of the wheel wells in the front match the filling out in the rear? I know that 7mm is needed in the front, but will slightly thicker spacers make for a better match to the look? Regards, Maurice.
  2. 987 - 8J x 18 ET 57 9J x 18 ET 43 986 - 7.5J x 18 ET 50 9J x 18 ET 52 on the front, at least a pair of 7mm spacers will be needed. on the rear, 9mm is going to stick out.
  3. How old are those rear tires? a worn out / damaged side wall tire can also cause. even out of balance,,,, make sure they perform a dynamic balancing , make sure they get it to 0,0 on both side.
  4. Have U checked the fuse A9? also check your relay HCS F28 If those are fine,,,, this is based on a 2000 diagram. 0.75 BK/GN-turn signal HOT+. 0.75 GR/RE-side marker HOT+. 1.5 WT-high beam HOT+. 2.5 BR-ground 1.5 YE/WT-fog light HOT+ 1.5 YE-low beam HOT+ 1.5 BR-ground low beam. -I would get a multi or 12V meter, -remove passenger Headlight, -engage switch, -measure between YE-low beam HOT / BR-ground, that should give U a good point to trouble shoot. Good luck.
  5. Here is a good topic http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...0&hl=window
  6. The bottom fabric trim is NOT stitched to the top canvas,,,yes it is attached to a metal bar that runs around the base of the top. will need to remove the fat rubber seal then U will be able to see how they are GLUED on. Mike's canvas R&R has more of detailed pics,,,
  7. Why not switch around your existing bulbs? that way your housing will be re-seated too. both(clip+bulb) can be checked out that way,,,
  8. That is correct. an after market company will usually get a part #P99355921100 then refinished.
  9. corvette isn't much faster, not even faster than a Boxster S. I thought U saw this thread phillipj,,,
  10. excellent work! sergiu Who's doing this for U? U?
  11. I've seen a few cases was a dyeing fuel pump or fuel pressure regulator
  12. yes stud puller is often used. R U asking how must it it costs for a shop to do it ? R they broken below the surface ? if not a double nutting method usually works,,,
  13. There is a company called "pop a lock" (at least around my area) . they opened it in a few minutes almost like Maurice's method.
  14. Yes U can just order the auto dazzle glass($171 I believe) rather than the whole kit. I believe auto dimmed mirror has a diff base. wiring hardness is not included in that kit" # 000 044 801 52.
  15. there must not be a 3M velcro double sided tape in Austrailia?
  16. what kind of wheels are they? Front 52 should fit. Rear 58 will most likely need a pair of 7mm+ spacers.
  17. I really ilke them Hankook ventus EVO too! Yes going with 1" taller tires will definately make your speedo read slower, even though no ABS light comes on it could still ruin those rotors/pads possibly in some cases.
