  1. I use a mix of products, but for main paint...Zaino for me. Remember the MOST important thing is prep...remove scratches, clay, polish, wash....then you need to decide between carnubas (beautiful, don't last long) and Polymers (Like Zaino)...which lat the longest.
  2. I believe it is a bose (Porsche PN99364511300)...try sunset (click on the link at the top)
  3. Larger wheel smaller tire profile = same rotating diameter...LOL
  4. Thanks for posting. I won't comment on your driving, but it would be cool to add gear/speed overlays to the video (if possible). Cheers,
  5. P1219 256 Accelerator pedal - signal implausible Possible fault cause ♦ Pedal sensor NOTE: ♦ The system operates in pedal sensor standby mode, i.e. the angle of the accelerator pedal is calculated from the residual position sensor signal. ♦ The maximum pedal value is limited to 30 %. ♦ The dynamic is limited. ♦ The fault code only appears together with P1577 or P1578. ♦ The pedal value is reset to zero by actuating the brake. Work instruction: 1 Check wiring from DME control module, Pin IV/8, to pedal sensor, Pin 2, for short circuit to ground ♦ Connect special tool 9637 to wiring harness (DME control module plug) ♦ Measure resistance between special tool Pin IV/8 and ground 2 Replace pedal sensor Item #2 is the pedal sensor (996 606 115 00)
  6. Have you got any codes? Have you had any maintenance or disconnected the battery? Changed a tire? When the power supply is disconnected (terminal 30), the built−in GPS receiver loses the so−called almanac! The almanac stores the satellite orbits and ensures fast location of the individual satellites when the system is started. Procedure after changing a tire: Drive on a motorway if possible at a speed greater than 60 km/h for a distance of approx. 50 km (calibration of the distance measurement). Procedure after the power supply has been interrupted: Procedure after the power supply has been interrupted: Switch on the PCM with a free panoramic view for approx. 20 minutes (to load GPS almanac).
  7. The less cells, the less restrictive. So straight pipes are the least restrictive...LOL. Remember you need to consider emissions for your area and there are times when you need an ECU adjustment if you run less restrictive. Also some 100 cell cats have been known to cause CEL, depending on the quality of the exhaust (and the surface area of the cells).
  8. It just reminds me of the trick to get a cork out of a wine bottle (you know with a scarf...LOL)
  9. I'm running YOKOs (235/35-19 and 315/25-19). I have had Bridgestone S02s, Michelin PS2s and MPSC...so this is the 4th set. The best of the bunch for all around (The MPSCs are great for track and when the get hot). I do NOT drive in the rain, so can't provide any info. on that.
  10. Oops...PIWIS is the Porsche system testing tool (replaced the PST2)...in any case those tools should be able to diagnose issue. The TSB is available in the DIY menu for members.
  11. You should be able to use PIWIS (possibly PST2?) to diagnose poor radio reception...members can read the TSBs.
  12. The newer model is usually the better choice (all things being equal). 03+ went to MOST, PCM2 were the main changes.
  13. Yes oil change is recommended to rid the system of any potential particles from break-in.
  14. Unfortunately when you say the battery is 1 year old doesn't mean much (in terms of manufacture). Do you keep it on a maintainer? If not, it would be my first suspect as well.
  15. Unfortunately intermittent electronic problems are very difficult to diagnose....I would check out all connections...HU>amp>ground wires
