Sport Exhaust Question

Recommended Posts

I have the Factory installed Sport Exhaust. My question is, how do you make it stay on all the time. I do not want to do the hack, that deals with the on/off at certain speeds. I would prefer this, but I have read here, that it can affect the Nav. sys. so I would like to know how to enable it to be open always. Thanks

I have the same option on my 03 c4s and had the dealer disconnect the said relay. I have had no problems with my navigation.

Have it done at a local dealer for about an hours worth of labor. It is well worth it, but you may find yourself driving in the 4k-6k rpm range most of the time. This is where PSM sounds best.

I am searching for the relay disconnect and can't seem to find it. I would like to be able to re-connect from time to time, is it that difficult to do ? I don't want to go to the dealer any time I want to make the change.

I really don't care for the 35 to 45 mph cut-out, and doing the hack could affect my nav. system, and I don't want that either, So if I could easily connect/disconnect That would be my best option.

i've done the hack, it's always on unless i switch it off...My NAV system works just fine.

There is one side effect...If you have it setup this way usually your doors automatically lock when you drive over 5 mph but this becomes disabled if you remove the spedo jumper.
