Access Lights in the Mirrors?

Recommended Posts

  • Admin
Hey - I'm new here! First post: I'd like to change the lights inside my mirrors, you know, the ones that light up when you unlock the car... For the life of me, I can't find an access point! How do I do this? Much appreciated!

cOOk!e you ROCK!! First posts here and you solved an issue we have had forever. Reading the PDFs I know I can walk right out there and do the install. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!

I have no diagram, but you have to dismantle the mirror front and rear shells, it takes some time and the parts are very brittle to work with.

Here u go

You do not have to remove the housing to replace these lights... just the mirror glass. You can then remove the light housing and wiggle it out enough to replace the bulb. I did this when I replaced my stock bulb with xenon look LED's. Takes less than 5 minutes. :)
