I was able to find 7 helpful photos at the very top of this thread (working on my laptop). But it wasn't obvious. mtimmy has 7 attachments.

For anyone looking for the clarksongli tutorial. You have to create a user account and log in. Then come back here and new links will appear for the tutorial you need.  I was not able to locate all the parts from one supplier, as they did not show to be in stock. But this could be because I don't know a lot about resistors.  Maybe mouser had what I needed for resistors, but I was working on a Sunday and didn't want to call.

I had to get these resistors from here (west Florida components)

And these MOSFETs from here (mouser)

For those that have had to replace their kessy module, does it just require using piwis and using the option control module replacement and read the existing module info and then writing it to the new module. Does all the information regarding my keys also get transferred over or do you also have to program the keys separately to the new module.

I'm encouraged by all you DIYs and taking the plunge.  I just ordered parts - resitors and MOSFETS all from West FL components.  Is there a reason why you ordered the MOSFETS from West FL??

Here is my order:

J261APF08 1/4W 0.22 ohm Mini-Melf Resistor Beyschlag® MMA0204-50AL0R22J 12 $2.40
T625APL03 IRFZ24 17A 60V HexFET Transistor International Rectifier 4 $4.00

Hi everybody 🖖

I found this thread after a long time reading and switching websites... First of all thank you everybody for contributing and telling their experiences, it was really helpfull...

I got a 2013 Cayenne 92A recently and realized entry & drive system is not working. I see an error which tells "Key not recognized." Since I did not use it as a technology I don't have any problems with unlocking from the original key but when I digged in I found it fixable, thanks to you.

So, is anyone have any idea where I should start? Does my KESSY same with the first gen Cayennes?

I have system report that says:

- 1.880808 Power Supply KESSY

- 2.880209 Right wheel housing antenna open circuit, short circuit to B+ or ground

I'm asking because my dummy key works and everybody have different issues like weak antennas or etc.

Thank you in advance 🍾

Try clearing your fault codes and see what comes back after a test drive.
