Yeah Folks, these work very well.  The fit was perfect and the install easy.  I was surprised however to discover that the parts themselves seem to be cast rather than injection molded.  Doesn't really matter if they hold up for the long haul.

Pulling the front end on the GT3 to get at a dead horn... found the dust boot on the front strut torn.  Has anyone replaced one of these?  I had a competition suspension set up from Jae Lee at Mirage in San Diego and don't want to mess it up, but need to replace the boot.  Can I just remove the mounting at the top and drop the suspension and replace the boot from the top?  ANy help on this is greatly appreciated!

When battery is dead the electrical system is down, as is the trunk for accessing battery.

I have tried connecting positive to red fuse and negative to door arm.  I ran current using jump starter but could not get latch to open.  Does anyone have any other ideas to open truck, e.g. force lift?  Thanks in advance.

Is this also true for current year C4S?

Quote for 1999 911:  <<There should be a release cable under one of the headlights. You need to use something to fish it out. If you do a search at renntech.org you will find it.>>

Looking to choose R-SPEC tyres for my GT3.
Only doing club level track days, not full circuit racing or Targa rallies.
Will use my R-specs on a dedicated set of BBS rims, leaving road tires on my standard rims.

Some say the Yokohama A050 is the ultimate and obviously its top dollar.
What do people think is the best “bang for your bucks” value option? including from the following:
      -Yokohama AD08 or V105
      -Dunlop DZ03G
      -Hankook z221
      -Kumho V70a
      -Toyo R888
      Appreciated and regards to all

I need to replace the rear tires on my 2007 C4s and it turns out the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are completely unavailable, with no ETA. Even if one makes allowance for the odd size and likely small demand, that is still pretty shocking. What alternative have you tried and what do you recommend? Car is a daily driver, street driven, I value quiet running (not that our cars are *that* quite, but would rather not add running noise).
