  1. Did you check the bulb socket for corrosion and dirt? You get that message when the circuit resistance is too high -- it goes away when the problem is corrected.
  2. You may well need to change the brake/clutch fluid. If you do be sure to bleed both the brakes and the clutch as they share the same brake fluid circuit. See the DIY in the DIY Tutorials section. It is also possible that your clutch return spring has gone bad. Item 9 below. There should be no grease or oil on the pedal mechanism other than a small amount of white grease on the pivot shaft..
  3. This is your third request - perhaps you should consider a donation -- so this site will be here when you need it. Try 9609
  4. Try 9243
  5. Try 0904
  6. Sorry, the only exchange part I see for the HVAC system is the compressor. Perhaps a salvage yard?
  7. Wheel Enhancement can custom color them for you. Give them a call... (310) 836-8908 Plus they will take your old wheels as trade-ins. http://www.wheelenhancement.com/index.php?t=WheelDetail&id=47
  8. Try 2659
  9. Try 0795
  10. Try 0874
  11. Yes, all the V8 engines use the same relay.
  12. Always worth a try. Give it time to work though.
  13. Try a new relay. Any other wiring problems could take some time to trace down.
  14. Try 2910
  15. P0230 Fuel Pump Relay 1 Output Stage - Open Circuit/Below Limit/Above Limit Possible cause of fault: - Fuse FE14 faulty - Fuel pump relay faulty - Open circuit - Short circuit to B+ - Short circuit to ground - DME control module faulty P2632 Fuel Pump Relay 1 Output Stage - Open Circuit / Below Limit / Above Limit Possible cause of fault: - Fuse FE13 faulty - Fuel pump primary relay faulty - Open circuit - Short circuit to B+ - Short circuit to ground - Vehicle electrical system control module faulty - DME control module faulty
  16. Yes, I took that from my Porsche 7.2 OBD II manual. Fuel trims should looked at. Since this is a bank 1 issue compare the readings to bank 2.
  17. P1126 Oxygen Sensing Adaptation, Lower Load Range, Bank 1 – Above Limit, or Below Limit This means that the fuel mixture is too rich and the DME software can not correct for it. This is not an O2 sensor problem. Possible causes are: – Incorrect signal from MAF sensor – Fuel pressure too high – Fuel injector fouled
  18. Yes, the correct part number. You might want to check with your local dealer also as I see an MSRP of $21.56.
  19. Well, if you can still find the switch that will likely fix it - but that switch will wear out again. If you replace the whole lock/switch assembly with the 2004 (and newer version) you won't likely ever need worry about it again. There are DIY instruction for both types in the 996 and 986 DIY Tutorials.
  20. P0130 Oxygen sensor in front of catalytic converter, bank 1 – signal implausible Possible cause of fault Leaking bolts on oxygen sensor Leaks in exhaust system, between engine and catalytic converter Oxygen sensor in front of catalytic converter faulty (shift in characteristics/pollution) I would start with looking for leaks in the exhaust system.
  21. Try 0753
  22. Yes, it might show you fault codes and actual values (according to their chart) -- http://www.durametric.com/modelfeaturematrixv6.aspx#986
  23. Try wiggling the key/switch and see if odd things happen. If so, then you do need a new ignition switch.
  24. Start by checking fuse E7.
