  1. There is a DIY for the ignition switch lock assembly here. Once you upgrade to the newer style switch you will not likely have any further problems.
  2. :welcome: Your problem is more likely a worn out window regulator. The regulator is a cable that operates the window up and down. Do a search here as replacement has been covered many times.
  3. P2403 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detection Pump Sense Circuit/Open Possible cause of fault - EVAP canister purge valve stuck in closed position - Purge air line between EVAP canister purge valve and active charcoal filter blocked - Open circuit in signal line - Short circuit to ground in signal line - Leakage diagnosis pump faulty (diaphragm or reed switch stuck, solenoid valve stays open) - DME control module faulty
  4. Try 4876
  5. Exact model and year of your car please?
  6. I need the exact model of your radio (as it says on the front panel of the radio). Did you read the Lost Radio Code FAQ first?
  7. Try 7354
  8. Try 6542
  9. If you bought a knock-off cable instead of the real Durametric cable you will not likely get much sympathy here. Durametric is the only company that has a reasonably priced Porsche diagnostic tool that works. Many people (and shops) here rely on it daily. Perhaps one of the best investments you can make for your Porsche.
  10. Try 9694
  11. Try 1078
  12. The only thing that should be different (according to the Porsche parts list) is vent line (item 2 on the bottom) and the support on top is slightly different but attaches the same way. The outer lid lid design changed but again is functionally the same. The photos above the diagram are from a C4S.
  13. Is that you full serial number... please read the Lost Radio Code FAQ - then respond here.
  14. Per the board Guidelines/Rules -- Please do not double post your requests. (click to enlarge)
  15. Try 2159
  16. For a 6 preset TrafficPro try 12341
  17. Try 9653
  18. Okay - so the headlight works you proved that by swapping with the opposite site. You changed out the wiring harness - so that should be good. What you have not done is re-programmed the computer module that turns each of those lights on - individually. Unless there is another break the wiring then it is likely a control module issue.
  19. :welcome: There is a front end electrical control module that controls all of the lights. You may need to get it re-programmed. It is not unusual for these control modules to lose some or all of their memory/programming during a battery change or other electrical anomalies. In most cases a simple reprogramming using a Porsche diagnostic tool (PIWIS) will correct the problem(s).
  20. I do not know what country you posted from but here in the US the MPG rating come from the government (EPA). So I am sure they will post them when they get the numbers from the EPA.
  21. The Boxster S brakes are the same as the 996 (two wheel drive) cars.
  22. Sorry, you can get those faults by hitting the lock button before the door is closed or before the door is closed completely and the window is up. As I said before I think you should clear all the codes and then re-test.
