  2. I have much fewer problems with that site if I use Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser. It worked when I tried just now but I have had an account for years.
  3. Try 0540
  4. Sorry, but you are just guessing - and that an get expensive very quickly. You need to put a Porsche diagnostic tool on the car.
  5. The Tiptronic is microprocessor controlled so there is not "two wires" combination for neutral. You possibly could switch the correct two solenoids for neutral and the correct EPCV signal but you risk blowing the Tiptronic control unit. IMHO -- If you really think it is that switch then get a used one from a salvage yard and try it. At least you do not risk blowing up a very expensive control module.
  6. I doubt that - but I guess you won't know until you try.
  7. Try 0828
  8. Try 0932
  9. Try 6896
  10. 6B4 is Seal Gray Metallic water based paint (as required by US law). 6B5 is Seal Gray Metallic conventional paint - and to my knowledge can only be use for (non-spray) touch-up.
  11. It is always helpful here if you tell us the exact model and year of your car. To my knowledge there is no ATF filter in the PDK. As stated above the PDK transmission get Porsche ATF and the differential get Porsche gear oil.
  12. Try 2457
  13. Try 0750
  14. Likely items 2, 3 and 7 depending on location. (click to enlarge)
  15. You should have the dealer/opc try re-program that module before replacing it. Many times that will cure the issue as well as update to the latest firmware.
  16. Exact model and year of your car please... Boxster 2008 Base, USD$115K Miles You will need a special tool to remove the outer ring on the ignition switch assembly. It is VW tool T10152. (click to enlarge)
  17. You should take the ribbed belt off and run it for a few seconds to see if you can isolate the noise. With the belt off you eliminate the pulleys, alternator, and power steering.
  18. Exact model and year of your car please...
  19. Your duplicate post has been removed. Please post only once. Try 2821
  20. Try 9652
  21. :welcome: In modern OBD II cars fault codes usually tell you more than you need to know to solve most problems. Without the fault codes - everything is just guess and potentially an endless stream of wasted money. Have your fault codes read with either a Porsche diagnostic tool (PIWIS) or Durametric (Porsche specific) software - then report your fault codes back here. We can give you specific factory procedural tests for most all faults.
