  1. Welcome...although you do not tell us where you are from, it obviously is not the US. First thing is to get the codes read. To do this you will need to either visit the dealer (PIWIS or PST2) or get Durametric. It could be an easy fix ...so chill until you know the codes. The car will go into limp to protect itself...and that is probably what happened.
  2. everyone will recommend at least an annual service...moisture, contaminants, etc....I actually do mine 18 months...I mean I keep it in the garage, I check it regularly (and fill a couple of quarts a year)...whatever...
  3. Never washed mine...just dust off with a damp cloth:
  4. Another reason to buy Durametric instead of saving a few $s on a cheap reader. May be the seat buckles as those contacts do wear.
  5. Go with the Dension...Eric @ Bumperplugs has a sale on them right now. I have had mine since the product first came out. They regularly update the firmware. It works flawlessly.
  6. Did you read any of this post? Try sunset...LOL (link at the top of the page)
  7. to add, do you keep the battery on a maintainer? If you drive infrequently, this is a REQUIREMENT. Otherwise your battery will just die (and they can't be resurrected).
  8. The reason to leave the tank FULL (as is recommended by nearly all car manufacturers) is to prevent condensation (i.e., water) from forming in the tank.
  9. you didn't say anything about price...LOL...that is the Porsche tax.
  10. Sorry this is the bezel (also know as gage rings) and it has nothing to do with the speedo...you want new faces....check FVD as they have them...your post was unclear and it was not what the OP was looking for. Best to start your own thread if you want different information...LOL BTW I think you want aluminum not white?
  11. the latest maps are 08...see here. I got mine from sunset (cheaper)
  12. Uh...connect the battery. The best thing to do is to plan for leaving the car with some simple prep (inflate tires, fill gas tank, etc.). Just fire her up.
  13. Holy thread resurrection.... ebay has them in colors...pelican sells them in aluminum...also available in CF. Try google...LOL
  14. yes if it is original it surely needs replaced....there are many options, I am not sure what is available in UK...try a search. I use Interstate, direct plug and play
  15. nothing is impossible...costly yes and there are better options yes...
  16. I don't know about the one in the link, but I have them in all of my garages...yes they work...I mean they are essentially another battery...LOL. PS they also work to open the front trunk if the battery fails.
  17. Possible fault cause ♦ Leakage at pressure hoses from frequency valve to the bypass flaps ♦ Frequency valve faulty ♦ Vacuum modulators for bypass flaps leaking ♦ Bypass flaps incorrectly adjusted So you have a leak somewhere or your wastegates are faulty.
  18. There may be different PNs for Tips...but the advice is the same
  19. First I assume you are at US height as opposed to ROW height. I would not recommend the set-up you suggest. It would be dangerous handling wise. You have the following options: 1. X73...The factory X73 retrofit kits lowers the US cars 40mm (1.6") in the front and 30mm (1.2") in the rear. 2. Coil Over set-up (JIC, PSSX, JRZ, Motons, etc.) I run PSS9s (Euro version) with the same rims you have.
  20. Yeah, jp I read where they used a lubricant sealant...LOL
  21. To the OP...could you please measure the cap ID, OD & depth and post for others. TIA.
  22. Well you've got two choices...either take it to a stealer or remove the door panel and have a look. It is most likely either the motor or microswitch...
  23. Actually Klasse AIO is not a polymer, but an acrylic formula see here. It is an excellent product I agree. I used it for a base before putting three coats of Z2-Pro on top.
