  1. Lewis as you remember i wrote about my fuel pump problems with my old CS. the same here. Left side pump replaced because that was the diagnostic of my shop. Working not well. After some days i bring back the car. They replaced right side too and voila. Problems gone
  2. No. My wife still in Prague with the car. She say it drives normal. But she dont have this sensitivity :-) I will see and report when she is back
  3. Jesus! Thanks god. You deserve it. I am very happy you solved it. Celebrate this victory with some beer
  4. i am just a bit confused because my general understanding is the Cayenne and Touareg pumps are the same. now when searching for parts a read the Touareg pumps have 4 bar and the Cayennne have 6 bar
  5. Will you replace all this other stuff too? http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/Porsche-Cayenne/60-FUEL-Fuel_Pump_and_Filter_Replacement/60-FUEL-Fuel_Pump_and_Filter_Replacement.htm
  6. Thats a good price, about the specs i am wondering. Checking the VDO it says 6 PSI.
  7. Lewis how much you pay for your pump? AS i remember the Touareg is using the same. Its about 85 Eur. By the way, somebody knew how much pressure / bar they deliver and how much Liter per hour? Thank you
  8. Thats why experts say we have to avoid driving on high RPM with a low fuel level. Fuel is cooling the pumps. Low fuel level, higher temps and stress for the pumps.
  9. Lewis cant tell you for shure. I took the car and same day my wife took it to drive to prague. I will have some testdrive when she will be back on the way home from the shop i couldnt feel any problems. Strange . But i was so used to this vibration that i dont even remember how this car usually is driving.
  10. yes ! The shaft and the disc was replaced last year
  11. Sound like my engine. I would say very clear to hear the piston slap.
  12. My engine started with a very light ticking. Everybody thought a lifter noise or from injectors. Over time it developed to a very loud knocking. Sounds not nice. Like a loud old diesel engine
  13. Just took my car from the shop. Take it there because i had vibration and was thinking the new cardan shaft from last year could be the reason. It was only the flex disc. Thanks god. Drove now 25 km home. Feels good. I will bite my *** if all my searching in the engine compartment looking for the vibration was not the engine, was the cardan. We will see
  14. I got my car back. I was told by my shop the cardsn shaft is ok, the flex disc was destroyed.
  15. This is how the plug from the damaged cylinder looks like after several hundred kilometers.
  16. This is about 80 EUR. Cant believe thats true. The original part from Porsche is something like 635 EUR
  17. Shop called me today. Only the flex disc is gone. Rest is good. Service guy told me he changed and testdrive feels very good
  18. Bosch 212 is the best offer i found. Delivery 3 / 4 days
  19. Audi looks not good. Strong hit. Be happy nothing serious happend.
