Vendor Info?

Hey All,

Just wondering if anyone had any info on the Xenonmods site? I placed an order back in mid February for a couple of items, paid for it with Paypal, Paypal show the payment was sent - but i still haven't received the stuff. I have sent a couple of emails but not heard anything back. The website states that stuff is shipped within 24-48 hours and could take upto 5 business days, but i placed the order on February 14th (happy valentines day to my car!)

Are they still in business? Has anyone had any recent experience with them?

I am sure there is a logical explanation but i am a little annoyed that i haven't heard back from them if there was a delay in shipping.

I did a google search for that website using one of the phrases I use before buying anything online:

Looks like there was a time Xenonmods was good about product and service, but after awhile it appears that ethic is MIA.

Hope you are able to receive or recover.

Sorry, for your trouble. XenonMods was removed from our Special Offers section here after delivery and responses became very "spotty".

Sorry to hear of your troubles and unfortunately there are a # of bad apples out there trying to make a few bux. I bought a kit from www.xenondepot.com (now called KB car stuff IIRC) for another car. Shipped ASAP, quality is great and price was fair. Steve the owner answered a # of questions I had before hand and communicated every step of the way w/ tracking info, etc. They are a board sponsor for a few non P-car sites I visit and everyone has given them good reviews. Might want to give him a shout if you're still going to do the mod. (PS - I know in the past he's helped people out in the past who bought kits of lesser quality and got stiffed). Top notch guy in my experience..... Good luck :)

Thanks for the heads up, ill check them out. I haven't written Xenonmods off yet, everyone deserves a chance to fix things.... But i am not hopeful!

If you paid with paypal, you can file a dispute to get your money back.

Appreicate everyone's advice. I finally received part of my order the day i filled a complaint with Paypal, back in mid-march. Unfortunately i have yet to receive the remainder of the order. He is now saying that the order was completed, i have had a load of crappy emails accusing me of ripping him off and messing with the system. I am actually shocked.... I almost feel like closing the case just to stop dealing with him and getting these emails. I am not sure about you all but i buy most of my P-Car stuff online and every other vendor, without exception, has been excellent - except for this one.

Lesson learned, fingers burned.

Not sure if anyone is interested in a update on this but humor me......

Well its still ongoing, paypal finally said today that i had to file with the local law enforcement and fax it over to them. As much as i want to its really not worth the hassle for the bit of the order thats missing. The way gas prices are it would probably cost me more to drive there and file that to let this guy get away with it.

Don't buy from this guy - its more hassle than its worth. :soapbox:
