Fault code 60 -- Central locking limit position 'Locked' not reached

Fault code 54 -- Radio receiver defective

Check the fuse first - C3 (15 A)

I would fix the fault 60 first. Unless the wiring in the door is damaged you may have a bad microswitch in the door lock.

Aftermarket radio?

Is it not so that code 54 refers to remote/receiver (radio frequency) error instead of the car radio (in car entertainment) ?

Good point so a code 54 could cause a code 60 in the system can the reciever be re programed?

Is the remote reciever under the drivers seat ?

The central alarm control unit is under the driver's seat (left side, U.S. cars).

The antenna to receive the signal from the remote is in the A-pillar on the driver's side, under the plastic trim.

Regards, Maurice.
