After having searched online for days, devouring through the service manual and trying as many tricks I know, I come to this forum with great hope...
I am in the middle of rebuilding a 987-1, M97 (3.4) engine that failed when a connecting rod bolt came loose. So far I have the bottom end put together with a brand new crankshaft, bearings, rod, rod bolts, etc. Now the issue that I have is that the primary chain won't sit flat on the teeth crankshaft. Due to which the IMS is being pulled up resulting in the cover not being able to be installed.
I have attached some photos of what I am dealing with, I assume that someone with more experience than myself on a Porsche might have faced a similar issue and can offer advice? Please... :-)

I need a recommendation for a home air compressor for filling my bicycle and car tires.... not much more than that.
- Size? I don't want the motor running if I have to fill two 75 Lb bicycle tires
- Hoses? Do I want a small unit that I can move around or a bigger one with long hoses? I friend had a small unit I didn't like as the hoses were hard plastic and not very flexible.
- Accessories? Basic stuff I will need or want? Fill presta and schrader nipples.
- Other uses for these compressors?
I have a battery powered unit now and find it a bit of a pain... it is noisy (I really don't like this noise) and way too slow.

I have a 2005 cayenne turbo. When I accelorate it seems as if the car builds itself up then takes off, but when the RPM passes 6 and enters into the red, the truck seems to jump or hesitate, almost like I'm slamming on the brakes then it takes off again. The engine light comes and goes and every time it throws p0016 which is camshaft and crankshaft position sensors. I had it checked out and was told there is no way to diagnose it as the timing belt without taking out the turbos out and blah blah blah. So, I am left to replace both sensors and go from there. What does this sound like? Help please I am a newbie!
