  1. Are you sure your coils have no cracks? A lot of the cracks (black on black hair lines) are very difficult to see unless you examine every inch very carefully. How old are the coils?

  2. Water splashes up during a rain - I doubt you do that when you wash the car. Coils packs can easily be tested with an ohm meter: The resistance between terminal 1 and terminal 15 at 20°C: 0.3 - 0.7 Ohms Likewise with the spark plug connectors: Resistance: approx. 2 k Ohms

  3. It sounds like you have the I666 Telephone Module option. There are 2 ways to enable HFP: 1) With PIWIS, code the PCM to Telephone Module "Not Installed". This has the effect of making the system behave like the I619 Mobile Phone Preparation option, which enables HFP Protocol. 2) Update the system to V2.23 and V2.24 (a 2-stage update with CDs). However, if you do this, you will also need to have the maps updated.

  4. I answered this in your PM to me. The only thing that I am aware of is that the switch does not come in any kit (neither Porsche or Carnewal). You must buy the switch separately. The only switches available are the matte finish - there never was a gloss finish switch. 996.613.987.10.A05 Switch, sports exhaust system; installation location> right of radio 996.613.988.10.A05 Switch, sports exhaust system; installation location> left of radio The Carnewal package IS the Porsche package.
