  1. ... and in the model column M249 is Tiptronic and M480 is 6 speed.
  2. Tight enough that they don't fall out ;) I could not find a torque for those but on the hardtop they say 5.0 ftlb.
  3. Have a look at TSB 5/04 9160 CD Changer CDC-4 lnstallation Instructions -- dated Jun 25, 2004
  4. Try 9055 or 9053
  5. Yes, but there have been a number of updates. Here is the list - item 30. 996_alternators.pdf
  6. It was a Voluntary Recall Campaign/Service Action - so it was free. I am sure it is possible that it could be stuck too.
  7. Fault codes 12, 13, 28, 29, 40 Ignition circuit, driver's side airbag Possible cause of fault: - Short circuit to B+/ground or open circuit in the wiring between the driver's side airbag unit and the airbag triggering unit - Driver's side airbag faulty
  8. I do not know the difference but Porsche would not sell a Tiptronic version and a 6 speed version if they were interchangeable.
  9. The program in the DME. The DME can be programmed for Boxsters or Carrera's - I think you need the Carrera program.
  10. That your own personal preference. Porsche's approved oil and viscosity list is in the TSB section.
  11. 3.4 liter rev limiter is set at 7,300 RPM. Which program (Boxster?) did they use on which DME (version)?
  12. I still think you have corrosion in that connector.
  13. Try 0843 or 0841
  14. Try 8200 or 8198
  15. Correct, that is the factory fill for the last several years.
  16. Yep, cover in several TSBs.
  17. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  18. Please try our Search feature next time... http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s...ost&p=15531
  19. :welcome: With all due respect the wheel value is a little high.
  20. I do not know for sure. The wheels are the same size and offset. I would say very likely yes on an RS (more fender space) -- maybe on a regular GT3 with the right spacers.
  21. 3.6 liter, 320 HP used in MY05 C2/C4/C4S
  22. Please read this and follow the instructions... Lost Radio Code - FAQ, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
  23. Try 2856 or 2854
  24. Can you get the exact code? The track tech inspection would be up to the event sanctioning group's rules (and insurance).
