flatjoe replied to johnmh's topic in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)Man you have to change D2S xenon bulb (low beam). High beam is regular bulb +D2S xenon. Low beam only xenon bulb is on. Thrre is a flap in xenon projector light that switch low and high beam. But when high beam is running also regular bulb is supporting. Low - D2S High - D2S + H11 or so

flatjoe replied to violaGT3's topic in 996 Series (Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Targa)Got 2003 C4S with 90 000km. Bought 2 years ago at 70 000km from first owner. Till now I did RMS and clutch (cracked pressure plate). IMS still original.
I would take 3,6 version. Its way upgraded. Nikasil coated cylinders, some changes on head, ceramic coated pistons, higher stroke, vario cam plus and engine got 3 chains insted 5 of 3,4 litre version. Ims and rms issues got both. But its fixable...
