Congrats on the cayenne. The TC drain / fill bolts when new come with thread sealant / lock. Getting new plugs is cheap. Get new brake pad sensors when replacing brake pads.

I installed a new gas cap, so far no more P0455 code.

I installed a new map sensor and the car is now code free with the exception of the evap large leak code. I put some gummi fledge on the rubber seal of the gas cap. Going to order a new cap tomorrow. As for the subtle vibration at 1800 RPM I have been driving the car occasionally relatively hard and that seams to be smoothing out the vibration. Maybe some of the residual carbon was stuck and now freeing up.... only a guess because I have no codes and it is getting better.

I have been researching these codes a bit. The evap leak might be a bad gas cap seal. The map error might be a bad map sensor. The V8s do not have MAFs. MAP sensors are relatively cheap for the Bosch OEM part. The cam error I am not sure of yet. Maybe sensor or solenoid. I am going to measure the map sensor and since it is cheap enough I ordered a Bosch map sensor. I will get a new gas cap seal or gas cap. I cleared the codes and will see if they come back after the parts replacement are installed.

Does anyone have any thoughts on why after removing and reinstalling the intake manifold I am getting a check engine light and codes P0107 and P2100? I believe the CEL is due to the 3rd code in the attached picture for large leak detected. Maybe my gas cap is in need of replacement. I also cleaned carbon off of the valves and replaced the coolant vent line under the intake manifold. After performing this work I noticed these codes and at 1800 rpm the engine has a new vibration when the car is in park. It’s almost like a semi fowled plug however I never went near the plugs.

Based on your original post I would have said order an oil pressure sensor and check your coils.

Well don’t take my non-explicit response wrong but since their service is subscription based and copyright I wont repeat their process however it clearly tells you how to do this job. Their pricing is also very reasonable if you buy the alldata diy version specifically for your year make and model. I think I paid approximately $40 for 5 years of access... HTH

So I looked on alldata and it does have a procedure for replacing the oil level sensor.

Unreal! I have looked at the part and assumed it was right at the bottom of the oil pan. So I searched and read through a few forum threads and it seems to be a difficult job after reading a couple if them... Maybe read through these porsche+958+oil+level+sensor+diy+site:rennlist.com - Google Search WWW.GOOGLE.COM I will check alldata to see if they have a solution. If so the subscription is very affordable.

I have replaced these on many BMWs just not my porsche. I have looked at these sensors and they look just like hella sensors on bmws. Very easy to replace. Can you take a few photos and post it here?

Yes, it is probably the baffles. The diaphragms wear out and then rattle as they get worse. My GTS had the same problem and unfortunately those are located inside the rear muffler. So $3k later just for a new muffler not including labor and problem fixed! I bought mine as a CPO with this issue. I had porsche remove the CPO warranty. I “fixed” mine by plugging off the vacuum lines for the vacuum cans using bmw vacuum plugs. It cost me $12 total. Now I have sport exhaust all the time and I am very happy with the sound. I plan on putting a tubi exhaust on in the near future...

I looked at alldata diy and yes they have steps for removing / replacing the rear suspension.

Do you have an alldata diy subscription? It is possibly in there with instructions for stock components. I can check later today on my computer to see if they have a section covering it.
