  1. For now i cant tell for shure which rumble ist coming from engine and what is coming from drive shaft. Now just problem to find a place which can change my cardsn because of holiday season.
  2. I had a similar problem. Reason was a faulty lock mechanism on the hood. When oil warning light appears and you fill up oil and open and close the hood for this reason light should go out. try to take out this fuse for a moment and put it back. Start the car and see what happens with your warnings
  3. Inspected the drive shaft and its bearing today. Visually i cant find anything wrong. But when i wiggle the shaft it sounds not good
  4. Its a porsche service. But i would not be surprised they just hammered it in. I am so p..... parts, parts, parts, and many things not done in the right way. This cardan shaft was just changed in case of. Thats now the result. You think you have a new part and drive save. Opposite happens.
  5. Juli 2015. so no more warranty :-( what a person can do wrong during changing a drive shaft if it was not a material failure?
  6. Have to find the bill. As lucky as i am i wouldnt be surprised if will be 14 month ago.
  7. The sad point in this story: the driveshaft and flex disc was replaced by my indy last year.
  8. I have to pumps in my garage. Used ones. Cant remember if they are ok of faulty. Somebody can give advice if possible to test them? Thank you
  9. Congrats that you could solve this. Great! how you set the timing? This is described always as a very big and difficult job.
  10. This afternoon i checked the fuses because i dont here this grinding noise when i open the drivers side door. i pull out fuse 13 and the car started and run i pull out fuse 14 and the car died after some seconds fuel level about 3/4 full
  11. Like always very professional! Thank you. but as you remember, i showed you the timing diagram some days ago and we agree there is no problem with that?!
  12. Thank you. Ok if its like this i would rule it out in my case. The engine is just not running smooth at some rpm range but the idle is actually good.
  13. Yes i am reading this. Many times already it has been discussed in the forum about the importance to take care about these cam shaft tabs when working on the valve cover. would like to ask what this tabs are doing? Would a problem causing constant rough running? Misfires? In all rpm range? In some specific rpm range? if the flap would be broken, how to replace / repair?
  14. Like you told me .these cars are eating battery like crazy. Mine is a Varta Silver Dynamik 110 Ah, 920 . One year old. i charged it overnight and until now its fine

  16. Lewis first of all very sad to hear there is onother place with trouble. as you remember i take out my battery last week. Behavior before charging was the same like you describe yours. Hard to start. Its a big Varta but it showed only 11.5 now the car is starting very good
  17. PSM is a tricky thing. On my first cayenne the shop changed so many parts and nothing helped. Just my experience, many times its related with electric faults. Low battery, some wires which get spoiled on the drivers floor or passenger floor because of water. So many different reason. Just today i had a look into the engine bay because check engine light and PSM warning came on. Found a small crack in a vacuum hose which i replaced temporary with a silicon tube.
