If my interwebbing is at all correct, there seems to be some differences between the 955/7 and the 958 wheels. I know they are interchangeable between vehicles, but I suspect there's some difference between the backspacing and offsets.
I'm trying to get some some proper and semi-aggressive AT tires fitting to my CD. While I know the OEM 255/55-18 tires will fit with no issues, I'm wondering if I can't get a slightly taller and/or wider tire on my rig. Having access to OEM wheel specs should help me in that quest.
Can you point me to a resource for OEM wheels specs? Specifically, the 18 inch wheels?
Looking to choose R-SPEC tyres for my GT3.
Only doing club level track days, not full circuit racing or Targa rallies.
Will use my R-specs on a dedicated set of BBS rims, leaving road tires on my standard rims.
Some say the Yokohama A050 is the ultimate and obviously its top dollar.
What do people think is the best “bang for your bucks” value option? including from the following:
-Yokohama AD08 or V105
Appreciated and regards to all
I need to replace the rear tires on my 2007 C4s and it turns out the Michelin Pilot Super Sports are completely unavailable, with no ETA. Even if one makes allowance for the odd size and likely small demand, that is still pretty shocking. What alternative have you tried and what do you recommend? Car is a daily driver, street driven, I value quiet running (not that our cars are *that* quite, but would rather not add running noise).
