  3. Ok well here's what I found: Wire. Continuity. Resis. Vol.Drop Red/Blu. No. Open. 7.4v Red/Gry Yes. .3k. None Brwn/Pink. Yes. .2k. None Volts at DME and Sen.Plug Ignition ON DME. PLUG Red/Blu. 5v. 12.6v Red/Gry. 12.8. 12.2v Brwn/Pink. .9mv. 1.2mv I guess the oddest is the red/blu with no continuity but voltage when energized. Maybe it goes to a relay? Let me know what everyone thinks. Bad harness or the DME goes back to Specialized ECU. Thanks V
  4. Hi all I've got a 2013 Cayenne Turbo with 150,000 km on it. New to me. First thing in the morning when it's cold and when I start driving I hear the strange harmonic noise for about 5 minutes of driving doesn't matter what speed. But only while driving. Has anyone heard this before? YouTube link
  5. This is incredible! Any updates reliability wise? I have it printed at the moment and I’m about to install it!
  6. Last week
  7. I will try tonight to disconnect front bumper harness and door lights.
  8. Can you temporarily disconnect the new LEDs and see if the error codes are eliminated? New codes might pop up due to the lights being disconnected...
  9. Hi New member, long time visitor for help and info. This time I need some extra help. After installing aftermarket front bumper with led lights I was getting the lights errors but after installing resistors it went away. (I don't think bumper has anything to do with what is going on now ???? ) Suddenly on my way home from work - check engine and misfire. DME Control System - P0300 misfiring, checksum error - P0301 misfiring, cylinder-1 - P0304 misfiring cylinder-4 PSM Control System - 5400 Fault sport mode - 4444 Steering-angle sensor not initialized Gateway Control System - 8007 implausible signal - Gateway incorrect coding PCM2_MMI Control System - 8007 Wake-up line faulty Chronometer Control System - C112 No signal / communication - Faulty, display CAN Driver Door Control System - 8003 Lower limit value exceeded - Door entry light Front Control System - 8021 No signal / communication - Front luggage compartment light C140 No signal / communication - communication instrument cluster display. Left and right door may be aftermarket led lightbulb After this happened I replaced sparkplugs and coils and installed new battery - still same problem Any input greatly appreciated.
  10. Fantastic - it worked, thank you!!!
  11. Like drain your battery when you stay week or more . Servomotor disconnect from flaps. This part is very cheap and easy to replace
  12. Try check servomotor to defrost flap . I think Soo is your problem
  13. Try 0758
  14. This worked - thanks so much!
  15. Hello Just got a CDR-21. Model number: R1097 Serial Number: V5012402 Thanks for the help in advance!
  16. Ok, I'll recheck and post findings.
  17. Try 8537
  18. Just inherited a 2001 Boxster, but my Dad was never able to find the radio unlock code. Becker 1 Type 4462 Serial Y5060683 CD - CDP2081
  19. Probably. Three things to check: Check each wire for continuity from the sensor to the DME, check each wire for resistance, and check each wire for voltage drop. As harnesses age, the wire can develop internal resistance over the length, or even breaks which continuity would catch. Resistance may not change much, but any increase in resistance can lead to voltage drop, and as most sensor are running at low or even factional voltages, the voltage at one end is different than that at the other (voltage drop), which drives these systems nuts.
  20. Apologies, I didn't search the 9971 forum. Thanks very much for providing the link to that forum.
  21. Hi everyone couple days ago washed my car (2008 3.6 with 110k Milage) Only problem with my car the low oil pressure warning coming and going away however no power loss no leak no nothing also oil pressure sensor was changed recently. Anyways after the wash made some quick start and stops to move the car right after car suddenly died. tried to start couple time started and stalled again. I did wait till the morning it was same couldn't start. After many tries got it started but when I remove my foot from the gas pedal car died again. It's been 2 days can't start it since. First thought it can be bad gasoline because I changed the gas pump filter a month ago there was a crack on it. While replacing there were some dirty gas in the tank. Tank was in the middle didn't mind and filled up car was running normally since then. Had this idea maybe dirty gas went and clogged the injection. I checked the fuel lines and air filter battery and fuses all seems okay except one suspicious one main relay 614 shows 48ohm when I test it does click however when I connect it to the 12v battery and checked the resistance showed 0 ohm. I sent the videos to a mechanic they said oil pump gone and engine couldn't oiled it self so engine needs to rebuild. I am away from the city and living off grid have no other vehicle that's why situation harder. Thinking about by passing the main relay with a cable but I don't want to burn the ECU also. Getting a new relay will take time except someone brings it over. Can anyone give idea if it is safe to jump by pass the main relay. Is this car really sounds like needs a rebuild? Thanks already would appreciate to any comment. VIDEO-2025-08-26-11-32-54.mp4
  22. PCCM+ AM Radio reception poor Inspect the antenna cable jumper as it enters the PCCM+ and if the tan connector (AM) is on top and black connector ( FM) is on bottom, they need to be swapped so that tan is bottom and black is on top as they enter the PCCM+. I had the same issue and swapped the contacts at the PCCM+ end. It takes no more than 2 minutes to carry out once you gain access to the connector. After the swap I have perfect AM & FM reception. Below links illustrate how to remove and swap the contacts in the connector. https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-955-957-2003-2010/1328132-pccm-for-first-gen-cayenne-31.html#post19985861 https://rennlist.com/forums/997-forum/1334821-pccm-diy-guide-12.html#post19924214
  23. Well wait a minute. If I measure what I'm getting out of the back of the connector at the DME(back test it) and it matches what I'm getting at the sensor connector then I know it's not the harness....correct? V
  24. Did you look in the 997 forum?
  25. I believe I have a 997.1 based on the VIN number, WP0CA29905S755524, and the round headlights. Could you provide the location for a 997.1?
  26. I have very similar issue car won't start anymore trying to figure out the problem, that's why I am here. Were you able to get the repair done ?
  27. I have a 98 Boxster without ORVR. I’m having trouble fueling the car. Have to put it in at a trickle. The vent valve appears to work correctly. Where should I look? Thanks. Alan

  28. Yes. The 996.2 body style did on change until the 997.1.
