  1. P2A01 Fuel trim deviation downstream of catalytic converter, bank X Possible fault causes - Fault in fuel/air mixture - Fault in exhaust pipe - Fault in exhaust measurement - Other faults are stored in the fault memory P2096 Lambda correction behind catalytic converter, bank 1 - lean I rich control limit exceeded Possible fault causes - Leak in exhaust system between the two oxygen sensors on bank 1 - Tank vent stuck in open position - Secondary air before intake valve - Fault in intake camshaft - Valve lift error - Mechanical fault in valve drive - Oxygen sensor ahead of catalytic converter, bank 1 faulty (old) I would start looking for air leaks.
  2. From the Cayenne Technical Service Book... "If two batteries are fitted to the vehicle (main battery and backup battery), these are connected or disconnected to the bus bar in the power distributor through a relay. The switching of the two batteries is controlled independent of the load management (function is integrated in the vehicle electrical system control unit). The starter relay of the 2nd battery is actuated parallel to the starter relay. That means for every start the starter is supplied from both batteries. The backup battery is disconnected from the vehicle electrical system when the engine is switched off and then supplies just one consumer, the vehicle electrical system control unit." "On vehicles with two batteries (vehicle electrical system and starter battery), the electronics of the vehicle electrical system control unit are supplied by both batteries. The vehicle electrical system control unit evaluates the exact vehicle electrical system situation by comparing the sensed voltage with the permissible minimum voltage. On vehicles with two batteries, the load management always takes the voltage of the vehicle battery as reference. If the vehicle electrical system control unit detects a critical battery condition, the consumption is reduced. For this the CAN bus requests some of the high voltage comfort consumers to reduce or switch off their power demand. By reducing the comfort functions with the “engine running”, the battery can be charged more. With the “engine off”, discharging of the battery can be reduced through the load management. Currently the following consumers are integrated in the load management: • Heated rear window, heated outside mirrors • Heated seats, front and rear • Heated steering wheel • Heater blower (3-stage) • Interior light, reading lamps, footwell lighting • 12 V sockets"
  3. You certainly can replace all 4 and be assured you have matched handling characteristics.. But if you plan on much track time you might want to consider "street tires" and "track tires".
  4. Porsche says "always in axle pairs".
  5. A generic reader should tell you that you have a misfire on one or more cylinders (fault code 301-302-303-304-305-306 = cylinder 1-2-3-4-5-6). Fault 300 just means multiple cylinders misfiring. You can check each individual coil pack with an ohm meter. Resistance between terminals 1 and 15 at 20 °C: 0.3 - 0.7 Ω Of course check for a bad or broken spark plug and electrical connector while you are there.
  6. Try 3239
  7. From the Lost Radio Code FAQ... "Can you give me a code for my PCM? These units are manufactured jointly by Siemens and Becker, and the only place where you can get the codes required is from the dealer/OPC. The PCM’s require two codes, the ICS/Siemens code and a Becker code. The ICS is the first code requested. Sorry, the only place you can get a PCM code is from a dealer/OPC."
  8. That is a Model year 2000 engine 3.2 liter built in 2000.
  9. Is that the engine number on the engine case? If so, then it is likely a rebuilt from another (earlier) case - nothing wrong with that but without further images or even some internal examination it could have rebuilt as almost anything (from 1970 -1980's vintage).
  10. Left side marker would be on the left side of the car as you sit in the drivers seat - so drivers side. It could be the night marker light or the left turn signal light that is not lighting.
  11. Try 3125
  12. Did you check fuse E1? Check for pinched wire(s) at the airbag or trigger control box.
  13. Try 4363
  14. JFP in PA is correct about the electrical glitch. Many 997-1 cars needed to have their front (lights) control module re-programmed (with a PIWIS tester) because of similar issues. I would start there.
  15. Try 2419
  16. Try 6914
  17. I do not think so. Seems as the cars aged the demand went way down so they stopped making them. You can PM Flagman and see if he still has any.
  18. Likely C3 (15 A) for interior lights. Door lights are also controlled by Central Locking.
  19. wyovino is asking if anyone has taken it out the top - if you have not then why reply. Take this down a notch -- and provide constructive help or don't reply. If this gets any more off topic and personal - there will be site privileges consequences (i.e. suspension or banning).
  20. Try 5369
  21. Are you using TapaTalk? This is a TapaTalk bug that has been reported but not fixed yet. Leave TapaTalk and use a web browser and everything will work fine.
  22. Try 1376
  23. Try 8935
