  1. Have you had your system tested for vacuum leaks?
  2. If the fuel line is ruptured or came off inside the tank doesn't matter if the fuel pump is working.
  3. Sounds fuel related to me....fuel pump, fuel hose, etc... Of course if you have any faults that would be nice to know.
  4. As Loren says there are quite a few posts regarding spoiler. Perhaps you should just clear the code and see if it comes back.
  5. Mike...agree completely with jp. Porsche are very sensitive to battery. I have had strange electrical faults before. Replacing the battery fixes them. I just replaced my 5 year old battery last week. It appears the battery is OK , but it didn't work FWIW.
  6. As already said, likely you are hitting the bump stops. You are too low for the coil overs.
  7. N-rated tires can be bought on the open market. The 1, 2,..etc. corresponds to the version, the higher the number the more recent the version (like software).
  8. Your Pilot sports must be fairly old...I don't know, but given the rubber is the only thing that connects to the road, I am inclined to spend the money on a new set. I just got a new set myself.
  9. judge...I run parallels on my macbookpro. It is compatible with windows 7 and ML.(10.8). durametric works great with this setup.
  10. you can run 0W40, 5W40 and 5W50. Check the latest Oil TSB.
  11. as phillip says it is unlikely that any one with the knowledge to do this will release their ECU modifying tool...after all they sell their flashes for quite a profit. Porsche tax.
  12. I live in Boulder where 100 mph wind is a stiff breeze (chanooks)...what does that have to do with retracting a roof while driving? I wouldn't even attempt to drop the top in those conditions whether I was moving or not (nor would I want to). The SmartTop does multiple things: 1. One touch operation (you don't have to hold the button 2. Allows use of rear window operation 3. For earlier cars, operation up to 35mph (this is and has been available on stock Porsches for about 10 years I believe MT2002+)
  13. TMK, Kevin's tunes do not in any way replace the stock MAF. He does have a nice way of using data logs from your car (mods installed, type of driving, environmental conditions and altitude for example) to tweak the tune specific to your car
  14. Yes, SmartTop works well....have had it installed for 7 years (also on my clk).
  15. No idea on the cable...I doubt the software is anything close to real durametric and definitely not PIWIS.
  16. You can't tune headers...the best headers are the ones with the shortest length and least restrictive to airflow (reducing back pressure). TMK, the stock headers for the turbo are the shortest ones out there. Port and polish the stock headers and you are good to go to about 700hp.
  17. Replace the aftermarket header with stock header as they are the best header for the car (you can get them ported and polished if you'd like).
  18. It has worked quite nicely for me....since the last oil change I have not added ANY oil (over a year).
  19. hmmmm....really....fairly common....I think not. Hope you trust him.
  20. We're just guessing without codes. Get the codes and post them and we can give you a better idea.
  21. Just a suggestion...try searching first. for example:
