Please do not double or triple post. You posted this request THREE times.

Please re-read the board Rules/Guidelines.

With a radio serial number that ends in 5043 the junk decoder says the code is 5497. Based on the link if 5497 does not work then you try 5498 and if it does not work then 5499.

I have not looked at the radio owners manual in a long time but I think if you enter random codes or the wrong code 3 times in a row then you get locked out for a while.

If you get your radio to work then let us know the code that worked.

Ok. I did the OBC hack yesterday and am pleased to report that it worked flawlessly. Now of course the radio is needing a code and calls to the previous owner, mechanic, etc have not turned up anything. I looked under the hood and in every manual.

So.

It's a Becker CDR 210.

Model No. BE 2282

Serial: V5010459

I'd love the magic code for this unit. Thanks in advance.

We should make this a game show - guess the unlock code.

With a serial number ending in 0459 then the junk decoder says the code is 8760. If 8760 does not work then the theory is you try 8761, and if that does not work then 8762.

If none of the codes work then you are locked out for a while - and on your own.

With the 210 radio after you enter the code you must also press the toggle switch on the right with the 2 arrows on it.

I can't believe I'm back asking for another code this fast but I found a CDR-220 on ebay and ordered a Blau/83NPUT cable for it so I could plug in an iPod and keep everything looking fairly stock.

Of course all promises of "code included" with the radio were completely false. Here are the specs on the new radio.

Type: CDR 220

Model No.: BE 6625

Serial No. 25015180

Thank you.
