To those who are wondering...

Here is a list of repairs I have done (listed in no partcular order):

· All three front radiators

· water pump

· coolant expansion tank (as a precautionwith water pump)

· power steering pump/reservoir (for theannoying squeal)

· right front bearing, left rear bearing

· front diff (due to front bearing issue)

· clutch accumulator and slave cylinder(4 times now for the slave - one time lasted only 4 days and it failed - PCNApulled all the parts on the shelves in the US as a result of this and a fewothers in the country with a similar issue)

· wiring harness repair (passenger sidefront most cylinder – harness to the coil pack chaffing issue)

· rear main seal (while engine was downfor a wiring harness repair we pulled the tranny to inspect the bearings,clutch, pressure plate and flywheel)

· two bearings in the clutch assembly –one was bad, one was fine

· Decarbon the secondary air ports fromthe intakes to the exhaust

· Gas cap – the gasket finally went at186,000+ miles

· Check valve and carbon canister on thevapor recovery system for the fuel tank

· normal services done on time

· brake pads (only on the 4th rear setand 5th front set - car has PCCB's and is tracked 6-10 days/year)

· oil changes every 5000 milesreligiously – Mobil 1 0W-40

· tranny and diff fluids every 60,000miles

· Baileys DV's

· GT-3 Cup front brake ducts

· Idler pulleys

· Belt (done a couple of times)

· Suspension will be replaced shortly (KWClubsport)

· Carden shaft will be replaced (secondtime now) when the suspension is done

· All four half shafts will be replacedwith the suspension

· Motorsport Sways and Tarett drops linkswill be replaced with the suspension

· Protomotive intercoolers going in whensuspension is done

· Two rear heat shields will be replacedwhen the suspension is done

The car has the original clutch, the original tranny, the original turbos and the original engine. I do alot of driving for work and to be honest it's a fantastic commuter car.

To all,

I just passed 334,000+ miles on my commute today. Still running strong although we have one minor oil leak in the front of the engine and one of the turbo's is rattling (internal waste gate) so in about two weeks it is going in for a rebuild. I am still on the original clutch and when we drop the motor I plan to get a compression and leakdown test done as well as an engine oil analysis. I also plan to replace the bearings in the clutch assembly and remeasure (we did this at 173,000+ miles) the clutch friction surface thickness, inspect the clutch plate spring retainers, pressure plate and flywheel and if all is ok then reassemble and see just how many miles a stock clutch will go.

At some point in the next several months I will take the envelopes of service history and create some data with dates, milesages, parts and labor costs and get true cost of ownership data with graphs - maybe I can sharpen my xls skills and actually curve fit an equation for cost versus time and mileage - that would be pretty geeky but **** worthwhile.

Incredible.. Keep us posted once you have it apart. I just had my Tech inspect my 997 Turbo. It's my daily driver as well. Asked him if there was any preventative maintenance I should be doing (I have 55k miles now) he said "drive it more." Nuf said....
