Hello,

Need help with a radio code after replacing a battery.

'99 911 Convertible

CR 220

Type 4362

Serial: x5010841 (from display)

Serial w1026915 (from Becker Identkarte)

Not sure why they don't match

Thanks a lot!

Chances are your radio was changed out at sometime and they left the old card in the car. The accurate one is always the one in the display.

Hope this tread is still alive and working. I just purchased a 2002 996 Carrera 4 Cabriolet. Had no faceplate for the CDR-220 and no Code Card.

I just got a face plate now I need a CODE.

Can anybody out there help me with this?

CDR-220

Becker 1

Type: 4462

SER: X5026810

Thank you in advance.

Mike

Hi there Loren,

Like many others I have the radio code problem on my 986 3.2S 2000 Model.

Bought it off a friend who has lost radio code and had flat battery after two years not moving it.

TYPE CDR 22

MODEL BE 4467

SERIAL Y5028584

I hope this is enough info to work the magic.

Thanks

Dave

That was it, 8917.. my new lucky numbers.

Thanks Loren for the help.

That was the last item on the checklist.

Finally have a fully operational 996 Cab ready for the California Summer.
