1998 Porsche Boxster

Bought car a year ago and haven’t been able to get the radio working since because of this radio code issue. We have tried 1209 based on what one service tech told us but it doesn’t work. Hoping you can help! Thanks!

Thank you but 2109 didn’t work

any other thoughts?

Did you use the procedure in the Lost Radio Code FAQ?

If not, then your radio may have been repaired and the serial number changed (electronically.

If you did use the procedure and the code I gave you does not work then it is likely that the radio was repaired by someone other than Becker - in that case I can not help you.

I read everything in the FAQ - but it just tells you how to get the serial # which I already had.  If there are steps to follow then I could not find that in the post.

I know the serial number is correct bc it comes up on the display following those steps and we also removed the unit and saw it on the back.

This is a radio not a CD player serial, right?

Not sure that's pretty old.

Try 7289
