I tried the codes. The radio doesn't come on. the #2 flashes. Do I need to press something else??

Thanks again

Do I just turn on the radio and enter the #'s? Will it come on then or do I have to do something else?

Thanks

If you enter the 4 numbers and the code works the radio will start in a few seconds -- if you enter the 4 numbers and it does not start then the code is wrong.

Hi Loren,

The battery in my 2001 Boxster S battery went dead when I accidently left the lights on overnight, and my Radio is now displaying a screen asking me for a code, which I do not have.

I followed the procedure for obtaining the radio serial number in your post, and obtained the following info:

Type 4362

Serial # 15050528

24/99

Your help will be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

Hi,

The battery of my '99 C2 Cabrio got disconnected and I realized the the car radio card that I was given doesn't match my radio.

It is a CDR-220

BECKER-1

Type 4462

Grateful if you could calculate a code for me!

Thanks,

Michail

Unfortunately it didn't work :-(

M.

Please read the FAQ.

3602 worked!

So it seems that the FAQ needs to be augmented with the info that the code from the 4 digit Becker calculator +1 should also be tried.

Best,

M

Though it has taken a while, I am getting back to you to say thanks. I got a variation of the code to work (as suggested in your FAQ).
