Hi, I need your help.

I am from Germany and imported my Porsche Boxter 986 from US. But there was no radio code :(

So I kindly ask for help if someone could figure out the radio code for my Becker CDR 220

type BE 4462

Hello

I disconnected my battery to install a new light switch and now need to reset my CDR 220 radio.

I have a 2000 996 Carrera 4 and being the second owner, of couse the previous owner did not leave the security code with the materials provided. I hope you can help and save me a trip to the dealer.

The radio info

Serial no. X5035487

Hi, I imported my 2000 Boxster S from the US and Lo and behold as the battery had drained during shipping and I am standing here without a code.

Thanks loren. It did not work for me i guess i'm part of the 5%. After the 3rd try i had to wait for more then a hour before i could try again. Is this normal?

all no good, I guess I'll just upgrade unless there is anything else you suggest. Dealer told me i would need to bring the car in wright up a service order pull the radio

get the whole serial number email all my info to Porsche Germany and wait till we get a response. I was told they would keep the car for 2 to 3 day? Got a quote of 300.

Just dose not seem right.

Anyways thanks again.

They do not need to pull the radio to get the serial - you can access it (as described in the FAQ) through the front panel.

Becker can also get you the code over the phone for a small fee ( I think it was $30 last time I checked).

Naplenton Porsche, i wish i never moved out western burbs tried call other dealers but all i get is voice mail with no return calls yet.

How do i get in touch with becker?

update: Sorry i gave you the wrong serial number.
