Thanks for the quick reply.

Neither number worked so I went up 2 numbers to 5443. Still didn't work so I locked out for an hour.

If the radio is a CD-220 and not a CDR-220 would that make any differance?

Once I am alowed back in I plan on dropping down 2 numbers unless you have some other suggestion.

Thank you,

Hal

CD or CDR makes no difference.

Thanks again Loren. I'll give the lower number a go shortly.

I tried going up and down by two and no luck. Any other suggestions?

I would like to request help in getting a radio code for my 2000 Boxster. I changed the battery and am now locked out of my sound system! The radio serial number is x5026234, then 48/98. The radio is a CDR220 type 4462.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you loren. Ill try it as soon as i get a chance and update the post.

Thank you once again. 7018 and 7020 did not work, i did try ±3 with no luck. I noticed that if i turn the radio off and then on after TWO failed attempts, one is able to try two times as long as you don't enter the third time and fail. The radio will display the "wait" message but it only displays for about one minute. Since i figured that out and didn't have to wait one hour I randomly entered the code 7029 and my radio worked. Thanks a lot, hope this helps save you guys some time. :renntech:
