Lost Radio Code - Thanks in Advance! (Planning to Add an Aux Jack to the Stock Stereo)

2002 Boxster

CDR220 - Becker 1

Serial Number: 15005234

Type: 4462

Just want to be prepared for when I add the Aux Jack and have the code handy.  Won't be able to try it for about a week when parts arrive.  Thank You!

Loren, your support for folks is nothing short of incredible.

I purchased a car without the code provided, however, the radio is currently working.

The model is a becker CDR-210  with serial number T5005134

With a working radio is the code available via some interrogation?

my radio is Becker CDR 23

And serial is : 25011255

Thanks again.

Didn't read the Lost Radio Code FAQ?

"CDR-23 (or later):
These radios do not have a security code - that is, not that the user enters.
These radios are security tested on the MOST (fiber optic bus) system to see if they are the "programmed" radio. The radios are programmed and recognized by the car’s DMEand can only be replaced by a shop with a PST2 or PIWIS. These radios will not request a code when battery power is disconnected."
