  1. Ebay has the for $300 all day. There are 2 types. With and without connector. Good luck!
  2. Have you changed transfer case fluid yet? Might be wrong fluid in it.
  3. I guess it is the purge valve, i think i have a spare one lying around somewhere. Does that have anything to do with driveability you think?
  4. It does not come on anymore but it used to have evap code.
  5. Battery and alternator are fine, but i do run a lot the a/c. I think the a/c water drain is fine, it just takes like 5 minutes before it starts cooling. Where should i look for water. The TB reset did not help. I will my TB when i get to it.
  6. Going to give this a try as well. I'm having same problem.
  7. No need to drop the engine. Just loosen the bolts from the subframe and you will get them out. I did it while the car was on jack stands.
  8. You might need a new engine speed sensor and may be clean your wheel speed sensors . Clear codes and see if any of them come back. Write down the codes before erasing just in case.
  9. You need to change the oil as much as you can. T4 or 3309 cheap and a filter is all you need. Don't forget to bring a fluid transfer pump. Just put in the same amount off oil as there came out and you are good to go.
  10. Take some pics while you are at it. I changed a rear diff last week which had a horrible knock but everything seemed to work exactly the same as the replacement.
  11. I had hard shifts from 2 to 3 and back and i did not want to install another VB. THis kit made my CS shift better then new. You have to take the valve body out and carefully follow the instructions provided. You can easily do this on an afternoon if you have some skills. Clean VB with contact cleaner and let buy a $30 tranny filter with Mobil 3301 or Toyota T4 or something compatible like the Penzoil Platinum ATF. Good luck!
  12. hi, there is only one kit i paid like a $100 for it. My tranny shifts perfect now!
  13. The old oil cooler was the big one, a lot higher then the new one i ordered. On my 06 i saw the same small one.
  14. I even forgot to mension that the engine was still running crappy because i had 2 damaged valves, one broke off and the other was bent. So please whenever doing the timing take a piece of iron and cut the tool. The tool for blocking the camshafts that is.
  15. Car is up and running. The problem never was with the head gasket. All there was wrong was the oil cooler from the beginning. Could i have saved me some time. I rewarded her with a open air intake. She is my daily driver now. Runs good but i should change the oil from the difs and the transfer case. Never have the time. I have even bought another Cayenne S. A totalled 06. People come all the time looking for parts so why not buy this totalled one i guessed. I needed some small stuff from it anyway. Taking it apart as we speak.
  16. You can easily make a tool yourself. If you feel the back of the camshafts you will feel 2 grooves. Just cut a iron that blocks both camshafts of one bank e voila. You need to put the timing cover first then you set the timing. Don't forget to torque the chain tensioner and don"t bend the pins on the back of the camshaft.
  17. I have water coming in as well. Carpet gets soaked. I have checked those hole and they are clean. I have then went under the car and took out 2 caps and yes they were full. Why do they fill up with water?
  18. I have found the manual here for my S. Take care not to bend the camshaft pins on the back and check all hoses while you get to it, i had to change some hoses.
