it did not work :-( but thks for the try, any other suggestion? the old code was 5371, but it has never worked since batery change, can it help?

Hi,

my story is a standard one. Just bought a new (for me) 2002 P911 C2 and had to put a new batery in. Radio code is gone. Please, help, my radio is CDR-220, type# 4462, sreial# 15001500.

Here are the details that I think you need to help with the lost radio code;

1999

Carrera 2- 3.4 liter

6 speed

gray interior

US car

Becker model # 4462

Serial W5009272 (it is possible that the second location is the letter S)

Thanks for the try but it didn't work. After I enter the code the 1st digit still blinks. I tried two digits out (i.e 9641, 9647, 9649), still no luck. Any other suggestions? Do I need to contact the dealer at this point?

tried bith keys but i have a wait message on screen i know you have to wiat for 1 hour. but what happens affter that does the radio work or is it a lock out to try again after 1 hour

Both codes don't work, the SN is either V5009447 or U5009447, bad hand writing of the mechanic who wrote it down.

I love the site. I just bought a 2001 Boxster S with just under 60k miles. I'm already crazy about it!

The radio was locked out when I bought the car (it did give me a great appreciation of the motor music), and two days into Porsche ownership, I'm ready for some tunage!!

Here's my model and serial numbers:
