Thank you Loren, that worked perfect.

This Porsche community is amazing. I sold my 2007 BMW 650i yesterday and bought this 1999 911. The BMW is a wonderful car but honestly I had forgotten how much enjoyment I get from working on a car to make it better. This quick answer to a question by a complete stranger is quite remarkable and just confirms my passion for Porsche. There truly is no substitute. I'm making a donation now. Thank you again, Happy Holidays

Bob

Hi, I just purchased a 2002 Boxster. The original CDR-220 was replaced with an aftermarket stereo by the previous owner and I would like to re-install it, unfortunately, the code card for the unit is missing.

Date of Manufacture: 02/02

Accession No. of Product: 0110580

Typ: CDR 220

Model No.: BE 6625

Serial No.: 25010701

12 Volt EC: 102

996.645.126.10

Thank you so much for your help.

996 Cab 1999 silver u.s. cal.

type 4462

serial# X5025830

48/98

Gal: 00

That is what came up when I hit "tp" button and turn nob after "becker 1" came up.

edit. From prior posts I took a guess at 9481, and progressed to 9485 which brought up a wait screen. I made 3 attempts at different codes with 9485 being the third and the one that brought up the "wait" message. How long do I wait? Is there a different code?
