Lost Radio Code - post your request here

Recommended Posts

I've got a 2000 Boxster with the CDR-210 that has locked me out due to dead battery.

I've read through all the procedures - so wonderful to find this forum and it's wealth of information!

Pressing the 8 & 0, I got:

Becker,

R3297

SN: V5017274.

I pulled the unit out, and it says it was an original Becker replacement part, which I imagine is the reason the code the dealership gave me based on the car's VIN# didn't work!?

Any help with a code would be greatly appreciated!

Hi folks,

Bought a 2002 Boxster S but it doesn't have the radio code card. Routine service resulted in a radio lock out, so I would appreciate it if someone could run the following details and generate a code for me to try :)

Becker CDR220

Type: 4462

Serial: 15088827

Many thanks in advance!

Cheers.

Thanks for the prompt reply Bruce, that code worked a treat! The luxury of a functioning radio has now returned :)

Hi Loren - thanks for these codes but unfortunately neither have worked. I bought the Boxster directly from a Porsche dealer back in 2003. Soon after purchase a flat battery caused the radio to request a code. I contacted the dealer and the Sales Rep who sold me the car was able to give me the code almost immediately. I remember it being a very simple code. Does this info help you ?

Unfortunately the battery of my 993 went down and was disconneted.

As you can guess my Becker Mexico CD now requests a code which I don't have.

These are the specs I got after pushing on the TP button:

Becker 1

Type: 4337

Seri: X5014836

Please help!

Thanks - Robert
