A parking attendent let my 2000 Boxter's battery die. After the battery was recharged I notced the radio was off. I tried to turn it on...nadda. I can't even get to a lost code request as the radio will not even power on, at all...period. Is this something anyone else has experienced? There is nothing I could find in the manual about this issue. Suggestions?

As I said in your PM... please read the FAQ.

Hi Loren,

This is from a 2000 Porsche C4.

Serial number: x5019343

Type 4362

I tried the code that the private party seller gave me which is 0360 but that didn't work. Can you provide the code for my radio? I would really appreciate it if you can. Thank you!

Regards,

Jam

I need a code for a CR-1. I'm not sure how to get the ser# for the thing but it is asking for a CODE. I've searched for any info on the CR-1 and it is slim to none. It is in 1995 993 C4. I appeciate any help.

I believe that is a 5 digit code - if it is (and you give me the serial number) I'll give it a try.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the ser# without ripping it out of the dash, the digits must be 1-6 no zeros or 7 8 or 9.

Well I managed to rip it without gouging anything too bad and the serial number is POCR-1R0420292

V40420292B

Part no. 993.645.104.00

BTW the guy at swstereo.com was very nice and talked me through getting the unit out but did not have a code. Good guy.

Ok, try 46672 - good luck!

Unfortunately it would only take 4 digits now it is not asking for the CODE...aaarrggh..if it had a neck I'd wring it. Thanks for the help, G

Loren,

Neither of these numbers seem to work.

Does it make sense to try numbers closeby or can it be any number?

I have an old Traffic Pro still in a box that I never put in. I think this was replaced by the high speed version. My old version uses a 5 digit code, and it looks like yours as well.

Problem is the decoder is not accurate, and so old by now that it may be very inaccurate. But give it a try.

If your serial number ends in 7009 then the decoder says the code is 71261.
