Thanks my internet is down, I'm trying to do this on my cell phone. I guess I will wait the hour until I try the codes you suggest. Thanks.

Hi,

I also did not get the code card with my used Porsche and the battery went dead over winter. Next year battery maintainer! Any help would be appreciated. It is a 2000 Carrera

Thanks.

Try 0857

or

0855

Tried 0855, 0857, 0856 and 0858 none of them worked but I will cycle through them a couple of times to be sure....... lots of waiting.

Thanks for the effort.

It seems like you get 3 chances before it goes into that wait for an hour mode. If you turn the radio off and on after your 2nd attempt after a 5 minute pause it will allow you another shot without having the long wait.

Yes, as described in the radio manual and at the link below (if folks take the time to read it).

Loren,

Interestingly enough, my dealer will give you the code, over the phone, with just your vin and the serial #, if it is not the original radio! For FREE!....Turns oout the correct code is 5456...you had given me 4456..too close to be a coincidence..maybe if the 5% doesn't work, try the first number up or down 1???? Thought you'd be interested. Thanks

Thanks Loren. Unfortunately the numbers aren't working. I got the "code" sign, pressed the number in, then pressed the "up" arrow... and nothing..... just the "code" sign again. Any other words of wisdom?

I appreciate your help so much. It's amazing how many people you've saved from car-silence!!! =)
